Immersed in the suggestive Salento countryside, among secular dry stone walls, a few kilometers from the beaches and the center of Gallipoli, VILLA CASTELLANA is the ideal place to spend your holiday in the tranquility of the countryside without giving up the entertainment of the nearby " Citta Bella".
The garden, embellished by the many varieties of Mediterranean plants, frames the structure, equipped with a wide avenue, swimming pool and tennis court at the exclusive service of guests.
To cheer up your stay, the solarium in the pool area, equipped with sunbeds and gazebo, an ideal corner to sip a cold drink or read a book in complete relaxation.
For sports lovers, the structure also has an unlit regulation tennis court.
The privacy of guests is guaranteed by a green belt and private internal parking.
Complete the property "The Garden of Villa Castellana". With this "space" we intend to contribute permanently to the awareness of environmental problems and, at the same time, to give guests the opportunity to share this project.
Organized along a scientific-didactic path that highlights the different native tree typologies present there, the garden is delimited by an alternation of Ceratonia Siliqua (carob), Arbutus Unedo (Strawberry Tree) and Pomegranate (Punica Granutum) trees, evergreen species which ensure a constant absorption of CO2 throughout the year.
Continuing along the route, our guests will find an area of typical Mediterranean vegetation made up of pines, cypresses, pittosporum, thyme, rosemary, lavender and citrus fruits.

The villa is distributed over two levels used as a living area and a sleeping area. The first floor has four double bedrooms (two of which with the possibility of adding a cot), bathroom and large balcony. The ground floor consists of a large living room, bathroom and kitchen; around the house the patio is equipped with garden furniture and a barbecue for al fresco dining.

The property had great facilities,the outdoor spaces were generous and beautifully landscaped the pool was large and had plenty of Sun beds.We wanted a mix of sightseeing and relaxing poolside days,this proved to be the perfect villa.The owner Allessio lived onsite, was extremely prompt during the booking process with answering our questions.His English is very good and he was at all times courteous and helpful during our stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at Alessio's place. The house and outdoor space are very large and peaceful, and the house is well-equipped. A/C works very well. The outdoor showers are a great bonus. Alessio knows the area really well and is very friendly. He even showed us a magical beach just a 7-minute drive from the house. The old town of Gallipoli, 12 minutes away by car, is very pleasant and lively in the evenings. You can eat really well there.

The villa had great facilities including a large pool/area, tennis court and outdoor spaces. It had a homely feel with all the necessary essentials including dishwasher/ washing machine. The rooms were large and comfortable. Everything worked well and we had an extremely enjoyable and comfortable stay. The villa is very conveniently located with easy access to many of the nearby towns.
The host, Alessio, was warm and friendly and spoke English reasonably well, which helped enormously. He was knowledgeable and engaging - happy to make recommendations for places to visit and organise reservations for us and suggested local delicacies for us to try. Alessio went above and beyond as a host which truly made our stay memorable. We felt comfortable and had a wonderful time and would visit again - in fact we didn't want to leave!
