Sehr gut sind die Lage dicht am Nationalpark und die Möglichkeiten, die man rund um den Großen Arber hat. Die ziemlich kleine Unterkunft ist nett eingerichtet und die Küchenzeile bis auf das fehlen einer Mikrowelle gut ausgestattet.
Das Bett ist für zwei Personen nicht allzu breit. Das Badezimmer hat kein Fenster und riecht deshalb leicht muffig. Auch im Treppenaufgang ist ein feuchter Geruch wahrnehmbar, der vom offenen Keller herauf zieht (direkt hinter dem Haus läuft ein Bach). Ärgerlich war das auf den Zuwegen und im Hof kein Schnee geräumt wurde und um einen großen Hundehaufen mitten im Hof liefen alle für die Unterhaltung der Anlage zuständigen auch geflissentlich drumherum. Insgesamt ist das Haus etwas hellhörig - vielleicht gerade noch unterhalb der Schwelle, dass es wirklich stört.
