About this villa rental
Ground floor 2 bedroom, efficient suite, large flat screen TV's, nice kitchen with granite counter tops with under mount sinks. Luxury flooring, Bathroom with frame-less glass enclosed shower, LED mirrors, nice. Beach and downtown right out your back door. Convienent 1 minute walk and your in the midst of fun, restaurants, bars, ice creams shoppes, pet shops, fishing pier, everything just a minute away.

The property location is perfect. Very close to bars restaurants and the beach. Was there for 30 days and didn’t move my car. The accommodations were as advertised although I had a two bedroom and none of my friends came down! The owner and Rob were extremely nice and attentive. I’m coming back next year!

The place is very quiet, comfortable and well maintained. The best feature is the location. Within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants downtown. The ocean is so close, and they provide you with chairs and umbrella. The manager Rob is there 24/7 and all you have to do is ask him and he will take care of anything you need. The owner Wayne visits quite often and is just as helpful.

Before our arrival, we were supposed to have received check-in information by email as to how we could get into our rental. That email was never sent. The day we were supposed to check-in I tried sending messages to the owner using the VRBO mailbox. I also left voicemail using the contact phone number (it went straight to voicemail, no live person). Granted we arrived in Ft. Lauderdale an hour or two before check-in time. We got into town earlier than we expected. Checking-in at 4pm would not have been an issue but thunderstorms were expected to arrive within the hour and we had hoped we could get in the place early to avoid the storms. Since we could not make contact with the owner, we tried calling VRBO customer service. They also tried contacting the owner but with no results. They said they could not do anything until 4pm when the official check-in was supposed to begin. My wife and I decided to take a risk and bought groceries to kill time until check-in.
We arrived back at the rental shortly after 4pm. We still had not received any messages as to how we could check-in and get into our place. I went looking around and found a guy painting the fence. I asked him if he knew where the owner was. He said he could help us get into the place. He gave us the access code to get into the rental. He was told
by the owner that we were expected to come that day. However, my wife and I were not told any of this. We did not know who to contact or how to contact them. All it would have taken was a simple email. Or, at least have a note taped to the door telling us who to contact and how. After we got the code and finally got in the rental, we were very disappointed. The place did not live up as to how it was advertised on the website.
My wife and I are non-smokers. The website stated that this was a non-smoking facility. However when we walked in, there was a residual smell of old cigarettes. After we aired out the place, it got better. However if we closed up the place for the day, the smell of old cigarettes began to come back.
The website also advertised large flat-screen TV's inside the apartment. Instead what we found was a small monitor-style TV over the refrigerator. The second bedroom also had a very small TV. The only large flat-screen TV in the apartment was inside the master bedroom.
Again, emails to the owner to discuss these and other issues went unanswered.
Customer service was very poor during our rental period.
