Good value in the Mexican quarter

We chose the property because it is good value and we didn’t need to be near the ocean. Although there are few shops or eateries in the area we found a great little diner, Jose’s Diner. Staff and patrons all Hispanic and we felt very welcome.

There were no coffee or tea making facilities in the room. No cups or glasses. We’ve come to learn that this isn’t unusual in the US, but not what we’re used to. Also, only bars of soap, not body wash lotion.

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Parking was secure and free. A small refrigerator is in the rom. The hotel is a 5-mintue commute from the business that I was visiting.

Since there are no restaurant facilities on site it would be nice if the rooms were equipped with a small coffee pot and microwave.

Superb

The location was very nice and calm. There was a Burger King right next door, convenient for a quick breakfast. The room was very clean and stayed cool throughout the night. The staff were very nice and accommodating to our late arrival around midnight.

Everything was very nice. However, the rooms must echo as I could hear our neighbors talking in the middle of the night and using their shower in the morning.

Waaaay nicer than expected. No sketchy people hanging out outside which was a nice change compared to other places. Staff/owners were wonderful and you can tell they take pride in caring for their business.

The flashing color leds above bed created quite a strange ambiance when turned on. You could hear traffic from outside.
