Great stay in Honfleur

The host Veronique was lovely, so welcoming and available for anything. We had an issue with the water, she was on it straight away and it got sorted. The apartment itself was a good size for 2 people, well appointed and close to the centre of town but just far enough to be quiet in the evenings.

Nothing that we weren't aware of - stairs are perhaps tricky for those with mobility issues.

The best one we’ve experienced in France.

Amazing place to stay in Honfleur. It’s located right outside of all hustle and bustle so it’s quiet and relaxing. At the same time it’s really close to the old town so it’s comfortable to explore everything on foot. The interior is beautiful. Even though the photos are good they don’t reflect a true magical ambience of this apartment. It exceeded all our expectations. Great communication with the owner as well. Veronique was friendly, kind and helpful.

You should consider absence of an elevator in the building like in a lot of old houses. It’s wasn’t a problem for us but might be for some people. Everything else is spectacular.

Three Beautiful Spring Days in Honfleur.

The location, the comfort, and the thought that had gone into equiping the flat were all wonderful. The bed was even more comfy than our own bed at home! There is a lot to do in Honfleur. We loved Eric Sartie's House. The restaurants are great, if you like fish, which we do. There is also a great creperie. Vèronique is a very good host and is able to give lots of advice about where to eat and what to see.

Nothing really to dislike. I struggled a bit with all the walking as I have joint problems but that's my issue, not a fault with Honfleur. You can hire bikes locally if that's an easier way for you to get around.

Highly recommended apartment in pretty Honfleur.

The perfect place for a couple to stay and relax in Honfleur! The location was quiet with a short walk to the harbour and shops. We parked for free in the street nearby and didn't use our car for three days! Lovely local walks, and of course the town is so interesting. The owner was super helpful and friendly, and available for any queries. The apartment had everything we needed and we cooked meals there, as well as eating out. The decor was modern but in harmony with the building. The little view of the town and river, watching the sun rise and set, was wonderful. Merci Véronique, we will return!

Everything was good for us. We didn't have a problem with the winding staircase.

It's an extremely well-equipped kitchen, there's everything you need in the apartment and it's very tastefully decorated. Wonderfully located with views over the town. Veronique was very welcoming and helpful with her recommendations. We highly recommend the apartment.

A lovely base for exploring Honfleur

Appartement Vancouver is a lovely place to stay whilst visting Honfleur. Our host, Veronique was very helpful and welcoming. Her suggestions for car parking were really useful, and we were able to park close to the apartment. The apartment is very clean and has all the facilities you need. The wifi is very fast. The building is very quiet at night, and the bed was very comfortable - so you can have a good night's sleep and awake refeshed for your visit to this very pretty town and harbour.

Like most Honfleur properties, this apartment is up a narrow winding staircase. Not a problem for us, and the lighting is good.

Very nice little cosy appartement. Véronique, the host was very friendly and caring. Great location, right outside of the very crowded center but still in a 5 min walking distance. It was a perfect fit for our stay in Honfleur.

Overnight in Honfleur

The lovely renovated property was perfect for a couple. Great location in Honfleur with an easy walk to the harbour, restaurants and shops. Very peaceful at night for a good nights sleep in a super comfy bed, with good quality linens and towels. Great shower! The kitchen is well fitted with appliances and cooking utensils. As mentioned in other reviews the stairs up to the second floor are quite narrow which is typical for buildings in this historic town, but the sunrise view is worth it! Veronique was a wonderful host.

Loved Honfleur and we were very comfortable in the Apartment Vancouver

Veronique was extremely helpful. The flat was really handy for the centre. It was characterful and very well equipped

It didn't put us off but the stairs were narrow and it was useful to know in advance so we were able to bring our smaller bags. It wouldn't put us off staying there again.

Ideal for a couple wanting to explore Honfleur

Tastefully refurbished apartment with period features. Quiet location but within easy walking distance of the town centre. Very friendly host who gave us restaurant recommendations and made every effort to ensure we enjoyed our stay. We were able to find free parking for our car on a nearby street.

Narrow, curved staircase to reach the apartment, which is on the second floor. It was no problem for us, but would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Great host! (Really) fully equipped apartment with a nice atmosphere. It is in a quit/nice area of Honfleur.

Just to be aware (Don’ t see it as a reason not to book this appartment); the stairs towards the apartment (on the second floor) are ‘ difficult’

De ligging van het appartement ten opzichte van her oude centrum. Bijzonder gastvrije verhuurder, die snel reageert op vragen. Het appartement is prima.

Er zijn twee trappen tot de voordeur van het appartement; er is geen lift. Auto parkeren in de nabij gelegen straat is soms een probleem (beperkt aantal parkeerplaatsen).

Bel appartement, au calm et proche centre-ville

Absolument tout. L’accueil de la propriétaire, sa discrétion et sa disponibilité, l’appartement identique aux photos, le calme du quartier bien qu’il soit proche du centre-ville. Tout était fonctionnel, propre et bien rangé. On y retournera avec plaisir !
