We arrived after midnight but the young man on reception was extremely friendly and welcoming.
We appreciated the bottles of water in the fridge and the plug in mosquito deterrent, a nice touch.
The electric window blinds were really good, giving a blackout to enable a good night's sleep.
Aircon worked efficiently and was fairly quiet.
Continental breakfast was very good and plentiful.
Never saw any signs for gym or swimming pools, which are supposed to be there. We didn't ask and I am sure would have been directed to them had we done so.

We love the Grand Hotel Forli and have stayed several times.
We were told we had been upgraded as the hotel was full. We were given a suite on the third floor. The suite was a little tired. Unfortunately the air conditioning did not work in the room. There was a power shower cubicle fitted in the bathroom, but this had broken controls and we were unable to get it to function at all. Additionally, a stool had been placed in the shower cubicle which we were unable to remove so we would have been unable to stand under the shower head anyway!
We told the receptionist about our issues on checkout, they seemed unconcerned.
