The place has a vibe like you are in a small town. With a few tweaks here and there from management, this place has the potential to be a destination. Its an old building so maintenance must be hard. Installing innovative systems must be more expensive than building new ones here. I enjoyed most staffs attention, particularly Fatima at front desk, and "Rayo" at the beach buffet restaurant. Both went out of their way to privide excellent attention to detail. The food needs improvement but unaware of the daily budget per guest. The location is prime.

There should be other better options than this one. Very outdated place, amenities are scarce, and not enough value for the price.

I booked a room for me and my wife with mountain view. Arriving at the hotel they gave us room 1112. Which is basically first floor with view of the trash. The plant floor is counted as floor 10. So floor 1 is 11 and so on. Out was 1112 first floor room 12. This room was ab abandoned room. Not a dog will accept to stay there. I went down and raised hell with the manager and then he apologized and said it is not racism. He gave us ****. That room had mountain view but was so out dated and old in every way possible. The hotel is not even a two star. The staff is not friendly. You can see in their eyes the racist looks for someone that is not one of their own. I hope management reads this and addresses the racism concerns and tell their staff not to give out the rooms that are abandoned and not considered rentable to foreign tourists. Shame on you reception manager. Shame on you.
