About this cottage rental
This vacation cottage is located on the Bras d'Or Lakes on a secluded Bay -only 5 minute drive to Baddeck, golf courses and the Cabot Trail entrance. This family spot features a small beach area, and a multi-purpose dock, hammock and swimming area. The water is not cold- 70 degrees +. Fun for everyone!
Wireless internet is included for 24/7 connection to 'your world' as needed - yet unplug when YOU want to relax, and enjoy this peaceful waterfront location.
Convenient drive- 5 minutes to Baddeck. Central location for sight seeing, hiking, fishing and beach afternoons. Less than a mile- get onto the Cabot Trail for touring the island of Cape Breton and all that it has to offer!
The Bell Bay Golf Club and The Alexander Graham Bell Historic Site are only a 5 minute drive away- with many fine beaches, trails, and hikes nearby!
Golfers will want to drive less than an hour away, to Bandon Dunes' two true links courses in Inverness: 'Cabot Links' AND- 'Cabot Cliffs'
Plan a trip to the Sydney area and tour Fort Louisbourg- enjoy the history.
For musicians - make sure to visit the Gaelic College or local restaurants and pubs that feature wonderful island artists.

again, we were not disappointed. Jan has gone above and beyond to accommodate our needs. wonderful location, this location had everything we needed to make our week enjoyable. bathrooms were great, cabin was quint, everyone of our party was super comfortable. Second time renting from this own, both times were excellent.5 stars.

Great location and we’ll equipped - vrbo details were wrong (a tv was listed) but host went out of her way to ensure toys etc for our three year old grandson we’re available, though he played a lot of the time with the firewood. Can be very cold in the morning switching to very hot by afternoon. Lack of blinds or curtains were not the problem we thought they might be - except when trying to watch the World Cup over the excellent broadband. Overall a great week and I’d recommend to others.

Stayed 9 nights and had a great time. Clean, private, well equipped, close to town. Rustic cottage feel. Great views out the large windows. Plenty to do in the area. Hoping to come back next year!
