Protur Atalaya

Cala Millor is a lovely resort. We have been there several times. This apartment complex is in the centre of Cala Millor yet it is lovely and peaceful allowing for a very relaxing break. Apartments are spacious, clean with small kitchen - ample for an apartment. Complex is just one street behind main shopping area. Aldi a 3 minute walk across the road, along with chinese, indian, pizza and kebab restaurants. Local restaurants all nearby on main street. Recommend Sangria Restaurant on main shopping area and Pirandello's authentic Italian a 5 minute walk up back street but worth it. Beach a 3 minute walk. Plenty of bicyle rental shops so you can cycle up to Sa Coma, S'illot or to Cala Bona.

It is quieter than an apart hotel with no bar / cafe but then its an apartment complex and you need to accept it will be quieter, but we knew that booking it. Alot better than being kept up half the night with noise and we all slept very well.

Superb central location, great sized rooms and wonderful reception staff in Sanja. What a lovely lady and Protur Hotels should be proud to have her.

Air Conditioning obviously controlled centrally and so constantly turned off throughout the night. This is simply not good enough in 30+ degree heat. No hot water after 5pm some night. Lots of bits missing from the kitchen and repairs needed.

Centrally located with good sized apartments. Wonderful receptionist in Sanja. A credit to Protur Hotels and the Atalaya. What a wonderful lady, always a smile, always trying to help and a wonderful member of staff.

The pool area is unclean, the pool itself is tired with sharp broken tiles, a huge number of broken sunbeds and no replacements. The pool area is cleaned each morning by the pool manager spraying a hose and that’s it. The drainage grates are filthy, full of slime, hair and even bottle tops. Such a shame no pride is taken in this area. The hotel also charges to replace towels so be prepared to have the same dirty towels for however long you are staying!
