Hostel Albergue O Mesón

I loved the set up of closed across with wooden partition sets of beds so you had privacy (I was able to book a dormitory of bunk beds and a single bed). The showers and toilets were straight across from my room. I had a lovely balcony and another window which provided much needed air flow on a very hot day and night. The kitchen and fridge downstairs with a dining area was great, as was their cafe a few doors down (excellent food at good prices). All in all a great stay whilst walking the Camino from Tui to Santiago. The area - Ponte Sampaio was a place I could have stayed much longer in - beautifully breathtaking.

Everything. Showers were top. Air con, staff, shop, restaurant, bar (great value). Close to the river beach.

We did not take breakfast, the surrounding is very quiet and peaceful but quite a walk to get to the center, though it is on the best route to Camino

The place was clean and the staff was helpful.

The rooms felt like closets, and there are beds in the hallway, between the bathrooms and the main entry. It’s impossible to rest in those beds
