We did not take breakfast, the surrounding is very quiet and peaceful but quite a walk to get to the center, though it is on the best route to Camino

About the only place to stay in Pontesampaio. We stayed in a private room which had 3 bunk beds and a door that could be closed. Basic accommodation which is what we expected. Nice staff. They have a washing machine and a drying machine (the only one we saw on the camino!). There is also a nice hand washing station setup.
We expected to be woken up by other guests getting ready for an early Camino start, but that didn't happen. I'm sure it would be noisier in busier parts of the year.
Limited morning food options in Pontesampaio. We ended up walking back to Arcade for breakfast before getting started for the day.

The place was clean and the staff was helpful.
The rooms felt like closets, and there are beds in the hallway, between the bathrooms and the main entry. It’s impossible to rest in those beds
