We had a wonderful honeymoon at Jon's house, it was everything we could ask for, a quiet location right on the beach (and what a nice beach), a beautiful screened porch for spending quiet evenings protected from bugs, a fully stocked kitchen, laundry, etc. And easy access to Isabella Secunda when we wanted to go out.

This is our second stay, first was in 2019. The first stay was great so we thought it was a no brainer to book again. Unfortunately, not the case. The cupboards are rotting and drooping. The fridge/freezer quit midway through our week. We lost a bunch of food and the landlord made no effort to reimburse us. Instead brought in a mini fridge and was told that was “good enough”. The grass was so overgrown (12 inches+) my grand kids could not play in the yard. The beach chairs were rusted, rotten, and broken. The landlord has a 2 garbage bag per week rule. Doesn’t work with a family when you have to buy groceries. The landlord also has a rule on the amount of paper towel you use. There is only one hand/dish towel. The a/c that you have to pay for had a rip in the hose so it was blowing hot exhaust back into the room.
CONS - house is run like a slumlord
PROS - location is awesome for kids
