About this house rental
Welcome to the most luxurious ocean/beachfront residence in Santa Teresa. This brand new custom home is located right on the beach and offers the ultimate private getaway. As you enter Villa De Luz, you will be greeted with a stunning and tranquil water feature. Your private beach access leads you directly on the white sand beach, which stretches for miles and miles in both directions. With 6,600 square feet of space, encompassing 6 bedrooms, 6 1/2 baths, amazing indoor/outdoor spaces, and an infinity pool, Villa De Luz offers all the room you'll need to relax and enjoy. All 6 bedrooms are more than spacious and offer spa-like ensuite bathrooms in each bedroom. The home has trendy tile flooring throughout, bamboo flooring in the bedrooms and 10 foot high ceilings. The gourmet kitchen has quartz counter tops and top of the line appliances. The large dining table seats up to 12 guests and bar stools at the counter bar seats up to 5. All furniture in Villa De Luz was made custom to the owners' choosing. There is an outdoor patio and seating area with a BBQ grill. The 9 foot tall glass sliders can be opened up across the entire front of the home to enjoy the breathtaking ocean view and the outside elements or closed and secure with all areas of the house air conditioned. The owner is a custom builder from Newport Beach, CA and has used his expertise in building Villa De Luz. Once you are watching the sunset from the Villa De Luz infinity pool, you will know you made the right choice for your vacation.
The area is well known for its surfing, yoga, bird watching, horseback riding, zip lining, fishing, ATV tours, and wildlife. Our manager/concierge can help arrange many wonderful and memorable activities. The area also boasts an array of spectacular restaurants, many of which are walking distance. However, if you prefer cooking at home, there is a market that is also walking distance. Local chefs are available for hire as well.
Our staff will cater to all your needs to make sure your stay is both relaxing and fun. The staff includes a security guard from the hours of 6 am -- 6 pm every night exclusive to our property only, a gardener/caretaker, housekeeping, and manager/concierge. A laundry service is available at $15 per load.
The owners have created a truly luxurious experience by providing boutique hotel amenities in a private residence. Howler monkeys during the day and fireflies at night. Private yoga classes, massages, and gourmet chefs can be brought to you in the comforts of your own home . We are located on the north end of beautiful Santa Teresa just walking distance from the renowned Florblanca Resort.
Reservations are available from 2-13 guests. Further, lower rates are available for smaller groups.

Villa de Luz is perfect in every way. The management (Maricel) is infinitely helpful, friendly and responsive. The staff (Hilda, Jose, Jorge et al) are meticulous, friendly and unobtrusive. The home is breath taking both inside and out. The location can’t be beat in terms of balancing access to the beach and walkable to restaurants and shops.

From the very start, booking and asking questions has never been easier. My family of 10 (plus a baby) has been vacationing in Santa Teresa for the last 3 years. Not only did this house fit our large group perfectly we were able to wash our hands of all the tedious vacation organization. The house manager, Marisel went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of before and during our stay. Communication was quick and effective, we had ATVs waiting for us at the house, a taxi service was arranged for us and she helped arrange the private chef.
The house was beyond amazing and our first time staying on the beach, which was a game-changer! I was worried about the sun exposure with my 7-month-old but the house was the perfect setup for my small family, the pool and direct beach was 70%-80% shaded. This was huge for me as we did not need to travel with umbrellas and a lot of beach/pool essentials.
If you are looking for a place to enjoy with your group/family this is the house and crew for you!

Upon your arrival you will have a hard time believing what your eyes are witnessing. It will speak to your very heart and soul. It is magnificent beyond description. There is not one detail left unattended, to satisfy your every need. You will feel a with a sense of serenity and contentment, no longer found in many places. The home is absolutely beautiful, more like spectacular! The grounds are tended to on a daily basis, but still maintain a "jungle" environment. The warm ocean, fabulous surf, are just steps away . . . . . The sunsets are more than memorable. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. The "natives" are from all over the world, from all walks of life, and provide intellectual conversations if that is what you are also looking for. If if you are there to enjoy your quiet, private time, you will be more than accurately satisfied. One thing for certain, you will never forget "Villa de Luz".
