Impress your family, friends, and guest with the only beach front property on Amelia Island which was chosen to be the feature property on an episode of HGTV's Beach Hunters - filmed on location in early August 2019.
One of the largest weekly rental beach front homes in Fernandina Beach, Fl, which is located in the more desirable central area of Fletcher Avenue, within walking distance of Sliders and 5 minutes from the historic downtown region.
The entire home has been completely renovated in the summer of 2019 with all new flooring, furnishings, and appliances. There are a total 6 bedrooms on 3 different levels totaling over 3600 square feet of heated/cooled living space, as well as, two decks/balconies and a separate, large, two car garage building.
This property is even more amazing than it appears in the photos - it is available for viewing before you rent by contacting us.
The first floor boast a theater room with a Samsung 82 inch 4K high definition TV, six power theater chairs, and a queen sleeper sofa - great for those occasional rainy days! There are two bedrooms on the first floor. Bedroom # 1 has 4 full size (not twin size) bunk beds with 1 pull out trundle bed which can easily sleep 5 adults - a great room for kids. Bedroom #2 on the first floor has a king size bedroom suit.
The second floor has the living area, kitchen, bathroom, entertainment nook, access to the second floor deck and bedroom #3 which has a queen size bedroom suit. The living room has a 72 inch high definition Samsung TV and sound bar. The second floor deck leads to the walk way to the beach. The walk way also includes an enclosed wooden shower with hot and cold running water - great for rinsing off after a long day on the beach!
The third floor has 3 bedrooms. Bedroom #4 (the second master) has a king size bedroom suit, a walk-in closet and private bathroom. Bedroom #5 is small but has a queen size bedroom suit. The master bedroom is bedroom #6 which has a king size bedroom suit, sitting/entertainment area with an additional queen size sleeper sofa, a large private master bath with a large walk-in closet. The 3rd floor private balcony is accessible only from the master bedroom.
The property is available for weekly rental throughout the year. It is available for long term rental during the off season from January through April.
As mentioned, the home is located on the beach in the more desirable central area of Fletcher Avenue. Driving is not allowed on the beach where this property is located which is much more desirable than a home where driving is allowed on the beach, due to the public crowds in these areas, not to mention the risk for children where the public is allowed to drive. The property is located within walking distance to Sliders - either by sidewalk or by a walk on the beach........ we recommend traveling by sand!
This property only rents for a 7 day minimum in the months of June and July, during holiday weeks, as well as the week of the Ritz Concourse car show and the week of the Shrimp boat festival. You can always inquiry if less days are desired, which may be possible at times due to other existing reserved dates when less than 7 days are available. Please send an "inquiry" only, not a "booking request" on this property to further discuss availability before sending a booking request if you are requesting less than 7 days during the months of June and July, and/or during a holiday week.

The house was perfect for our family. We felt comfortable the second we walked into the house. There were plenty of linens and towels. The kitchen was stocked with all the pots, pans and utensils we needed to have a great Thanksgiving. The communication between Stan, Crystal and myself was outstanding. The deck was perfect to enjoy that fabulous view.

The property was perfect for our family. Everyone had their space and the deck overlooking the Atlantic was a wonderful gathering place.

The location of this property is fantastic, and there is plenty of parking available. Our group of 14 had more than enough space to sleep and relax. The kitchen is very well stocked—we cooked two large dinners and had everything we needed.However, the property itself is in need of significant TLC. Several pieces of furniture were broken, including the refrigerator door. Many lightbulbs were out, and the fan remotes had dead batteries, leaving us sitting in a dimly lit living room for the entire trip. While the house is advertised to sleep 18, there was only dining seating for 12, which was inconvenient for our group. Additionally, we had to change the sheets in the bunk beds upon arrival because they were full of sand.Two of the bathrooms are much smaller than they appear in the photos. We also wanted to enjoy the beautiful weather by sitting outside in the evenings with cocktails, but there was no outdoor lighting, so we had to head inside once it got dark.It feels as if the owners have not visited the property in a while to check on the cleaning service and overall maintenance. On top of these issues, we had no internet for two days, which meant we couldn’t use the TVs, including the movie room.Despite these setbacks, we still had an amazing weekend, but we were disappointed in the property’s condition.
