Welcome to Sandy Shore! Coastal cottage meets urban contemporary. Our design team delivered and no details were spared in creating the ideal vacation home that comfortably accommodates 13 guests. Located in one of the most desirable communities of Lake Norman, Sandy Shore is convenient to shopping, dining and all the fun around the Lake Norman area — by road and by water.
The space
Sandy Shore's spacious sleeping quarters are a dream come true:
* Upper level private master suite featuring a king bed, unique tiger wood balcony to enjoy the lake views, and a luxurious spa-like ensuite bathroom.
* Two main level king rooms with their own ensuite bathrooms.
Extra sleeping arrangements include:
* Custom bunk room with a queen-sized lower bunk and 5 twin beds with its own ensuite bathroom.
Guest access
Your stay at Sandy Shore is complemented by full access to:
* A fully stocked kitchen on the main level with everything you need to create culinary masterpieces.
* A large beach area by the lake for easy access getting in and out of the water.
* Private dock with a boat slip.
* Hot tub overlooking the lake.
* Child-friendly amenities like a high-chair, Pack-N-Play, and dinnerware.

This home is pet friendly with a 2-dog allowance and NO pet fee. An additional dog may be allowed with an additional fee.
Maximum overnight occupancy is 13; maximum daytime occupancy is 20. This property has two active security cameras on premises. One pointed to the driveway and road and a second pointed towards the dock. The garage at this home is NOT accessible to renters.
Lake Norman water levels are managed by Duke Power. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee any depth of water at this property.
STAYLAKENORMAN reserves the right to cancel any booking at any time due to credit card issues and/or failure to complete contract signing process including but not limited to uploading ID, signing usage agreement, accepting house rules, confirming details over the phone with company representative, etc.
Any booking made within 3 days of check in will be subject to additional refundable compliance deposit of $3,000 and a minimum age of 30."

The house was way above expectations…. We were very pleasantly surprised to find the house was even better than the pictures and very clean! Staylakenorman had the check in process made so easy and they gave us excellent information about the house and the surrounding areas. The kitchen there was AMAZING, every single drawer or cupboard was labeled with what was in it which made cooking for a large family very enjoyable. The hot tub was wonderful…clean and plenty large enough. The dock and kayaks were awesome as well. The bedrooms were large and the beds were supremely comfortable. They even had a Rosemary bush on the back patio to pick a little bit from and put on our steaks. This place was SUPERB!

This was one of my favorite houses that we have rented! It's close to all of the local stores (grocery, wine, Costco) and it was wonderful having a private dock. We also rented a boat from "Stay at Lake Norman" and it was perfect. The house is located in a nice cove that allows for skiing and other water sports without being out in the wide open part of the lake. You can even fish right off the dock; we caught perch, bass, and catfish. I love the open layout of the house and the sunset views were stunning.
