Sleeping arrangements

The 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom layout comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests. The master bedroom features a king bed, the second bedroom offers two twin beds, the third bedroom has two twin beds, and a sofa bed in the living room provides additional space. This is our second time staying at a Lyfe Resort property, but the first time in this unit. It’s on the 17th floor and the views literally cannot be beat. I spent the bulk of the trip sitting on the balcony admiring the ocean from that high.The property management company excels in communication. 5 stars for how responsive they are.The condo could’ve been more clean. We found we had to wear shoes the entire time or else our feet would be black. The toilet in back bedroom didn’t flush well and the freezer didn’t stay cold. They were quick to send maintenance and they did do a couple things to offer a temporary fix, but still had issues. But, this wasn’t a deal breaker….There are beach chairs and beach toys in the closet which was awesome.The patio furniture 100% needs to be replaced. It looks like it had been through multiple hurricanes and is falling apart. We could still use it, but we were surprised at how crappy it looked. Beds are very comfortable. They supply you with a day or so of supplies (dish detergent, soap, etc). Publix is right down the road to get more!The biggest issue is the elevator. This has nothing to do with this unit - it’s the building. There is only one main elevator for 41 floors. If you are fit and active, just plan to take the stairs. We got an amazing leg workout this past weekend climbing 17 flights of stairs multiple times. All in all, I would recommend this unit, but hope the management company does something to fix the issues

The management company was extremely responsive and helpful with booking and messages!! The view was beautiful with an L-shaped wrapped balcony! There was plenty of space. Everything was as described! Things could have been cleaner upon arrival, as we found several things not up to our standards, but nothing horrible. The staff at Hyde were not super friendly, but considering it is spring break, I am sure they were stressed. Hopefully, the cleanings will be better and new towels/linens will be obtained, but overall it was a very nice stay!! Laure at Zen Vacations was very responsive and kind!!

The room itself is exactly how the pictures are. View is amazing. The property itself is insane when it comes to the Rules. The beach service closes at 4:30 so make sure you have your own towels if you plan to be at the beach past that time. The pool is ridiculous. No playing ball, no drinking near the pool, no outside drinks/food in that area. You must wear the band everywhere or they will kick you out. The front desk is rude. Check in process was very long and complicated. Even if you plan to check in early, the property manager will let you know at the last minute that it's not available until 4. Elevators take forever, 17 flights of stairs is not always fun but waiting 20 minutes on an elevator isn't fun either. The valet service lost our car by giving it away to another person, then we had to wait for them to return with our car. Overall very disappointed in the stay.

There were huge trucks performing on the beach 9 days out of 12. I understand that this was municipality’s decision not the owner’s decision, however the owner knew or should have known and more importantly informed us prior to the cancellation date. I communicated with our host/owner to explain the situation and express our great disappointment as this was not the peace and quiet that we had paid for. The owner refused to own any of the situation. I would have been happy with a 5-10% reduction as a gesture of good faith, which was declined. The owner’s attitude of “not my problem your problem” was disappointing. Now I have decided to never rent from Vrbo again as trust has been broken.

Apartment was as advertised. Pictures were accurate. A beautiful unit right on the beach. Easy access to everything. Only issue was the amenities in the unit. We had to get basic stuff that should be provide at this price point (toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher soap). The kitchen had poor quality gear and not enough (only 4 bowls for a 3 bedroom home). Bathrooms had low quality towels and we had to beg to get a few more (only one hand towel and washcloth per bathroom). This could have been 5 stars had they spent a few more $$'s on stocking the unit with more and nicer things.

We enjoyed three weeks of wonderful family time in this beautiful condo. On the 26th floor, you will be impressed by the 180 degrees view from the sea side to the rest of Hallandale Beach and Hollywood areas. The apartment, super comfortable, modern and well decorated, enjoys common areas with the hotel, including a wonderful pool, gym, SPA and bar/restaurant area. Worth mentioning super high quality of the restaurant. Valet parking works well, although in peak times makes you wait quite long. Location is super quiet and elegant. In exchange not so close to Miami Beach fancy areas (South of Collins Avenue) or Miami Downtown; approx 40mins of driving distance either through Miami Beach road or I95 highway. Laure Lederman and rest of Zen Holidays team are great. Thanks for your great assistance. Definitely we will come back!

A+++ this trip was one of the the best the location of the condos was not too far from any of the places we went to very family friendly everyone was really nice only one fault tho was the elevator man it would take forever sometimes but overall great.

The room and wrap around deck was perfect. The residences customer service could be more friendly. The room for trash was locked and they told me to go to 2 and throw into dumpster. There was one box we left outside trash room because it would not fit into dumpster. There were no paper towels either. The pool was nice. Food and drink very overpriced for what it was so we wound up going off property. The wraparound deck and condo itself worth it. Biggest drawback was 1 elevator for 41 floors.

This property is absolutely beautiful and the view of the beach makes it even more stunning. There's 4 of us and we were all very comfortable. The only thing that would have made it more perfect is if we were allowed to enjoy the beach and then shower somewhere on property, maybe the fitness center, before we fly out. However, we have no complaints about anything. We would definitely stay here again!!

Very nice 17th floor condo in the Hyde Hotel/Residences right on Hollywood beach. Condo was clean and well laid out. Beautiful views from every room and amazing wrap around balcony. No complaints about the unit. Hotel tries too hard to fit mold of a party hotel. 9th Floor pool and restaurant area were nice. Beach set up down the beach from the hotel was less than ideal. Rate was very reasonable so we would return.

The view from this condo is the highlight of this space. The wraparound deck is wonderful. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and worked very well for our group with adults, children, and an infant. This review is for the condo but I do need to comment on the resort/building facilities. Of the three pools, only one was open six of the seven days we were there. On the final day, the only pool open was the wading/reflection pool. Overall, a great condo.

Our family booked here after leaving a South Beach hotel that wasn't quite the right fit for our vacation. The place is beautiful and very clean. The location is great and the amenities are very nice.

Condo was absolutely beautiful and exactly like pics. Beds were super comfortable. View was amazing. I recommend more trash bags. We only had 2 which made throwing trash away at end of stay difficult. We also were missing basics like kitchen sponges. The chairs in front of hotel were not the ones included with the package, which was very frustrating. My 74 year old mother could not make the 7 min walk down the beach, so we had to pay a lot of money for chairs and umbrella. But that isn't the owner's fault, it's the hotel. 1 pool was out of commission. They reduced daily resort fee by $15 a day because of those reasons, but in my opinion, they should have waived it altogether, especially since chairs and umbrella right outside costs $25 each, per day. Japanese restaurant at site was pricey but absolutely fantastic. Bar at the beach was to have.

Never again will search for a place to stay when visiting Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood/ Miami area. I'VE FOUND MY FOREVER RENTAL. This property was everything listed AND MORE! It looks EXACTLY like the pictures except the pictures does it no justice. Either I missed it or the description failed to mention the exclusivity of this room. We got off the elevator and didn't see a hallway.... only a small foyer so we immediately jumped back on the elevator thinking we were on the wrong floor until I noticed out room number. It was at this point that we realized we had a private entrance to our condo. So here's how it works. If you have the private suite (I'm assuming 3bd/3ba) your key ONLY works for your floor. When you get on the elevator to the right of check in you have to swipe your key then press your floor. That key will not allow you to go to any other floor. Guests who do not have these suites use the elevator to the left of check in which takes you to the other side of the same floor. There is a secured door separating the suites from the other rooms on the same floor. I LOVED IT! The staff was friendly from valet to front desk. We even ran into our host Laura and she was extremely friendly and hospitable. In a rush to make our flights, I left all of my bathing suits! I went out on a limb and asked Laura if she could mail them to me. SHE DID IMMEDIATELY! From booking to afterwards Laura was very prompt and professional with replies. If there was any one thing I would change it would be the quality of the pots and pans. We actually had to go out and buy more because the ones in the condo were sticking really bad. Otherwise everything else was perfect

Positive. We have enjoyed the apparent we stayed in. It was comfortable and well equipped and that’s all and the view was amazing. Negative:When you are paying high price for a high end place you don’t expect to purchase toilet paper or soap to wash your hands. This should be part of the package. I had to take a trip to local grocery shop to buy simple supplies that should have been provided, especially at that rate. Check in was terrible. With 3 small kids we had to go up and down several times using ONE elevator for the building to reprogram our key. Beach was sub par we only got 2 chairs and one umbrella for 7 guests. Had to pay extra for additional chairs. Communication was 0 to non. Took a whole day to answer a question and mostly with generic answers. Was recommended to use an app supported to make it simple, It doesn’t. Hope this feedback helps to make things better. I guess I would come back if things would be better.

Our stay at this property started off on the wrong foot when we arrived at 8:30 pm and our kids wanted to check out the pool. We were immediately asked to leave the area by one of the security guards as the pool/hot tub was closed. We couldn't walk around or even sit by the pool - we were literally kicked out and told not to return until morning as the pool closes at 8 pm. If you decide to stay here make sure to plan on making a trip to the store to get shampoo, toilet paper, soap, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, etc. as they supplied enough for about one day. Please also note the pots and pans are horrible as the pans are warped - you cannot get an even cooking area so don't plan on making a big dinner, let alone pancakes and sausage. When you go to the pool make sure to return your towels as they charge more than a dinner at a 5 star restaurant if your towels are not checked in at the end of the day. The pool area has an "owner section" that is roped off and as a renter we were not allowed in that area. The owners section was empty all week while the "renters" battled daily to try and reserve lounge chairs at 9 am. Again, when the weekly rental is as high as it is you should not have to worry about getting a lounger by the pool. Please also note in the fine print that you will be charged per day for valet parking if you have a vehicle and there is no option to park your own car. That fee is more than the cost of a daily compact car rate. They also charge a "resort fee" per day which was also an additional fee outside of the weekly rental. There is no cleaning service during your stay. The condo itself was beautiful but when paying the amount that we did they are missing the boat here. We will not return.

Everything stated on the listing was absolutely accurate. The unit in person speaks louder than the actual photos. The views from the 17th floor are amazing along with the wrap around balcony where 2 out of the 3 rooms has entry to. Everything was clean and it made us feel comfortable. I was able to get in contact with the host/PM on the first day asking about possible early check in and instantly got a response. I also had something shipped to me and had no problem with retrieving it from the mail room. Just a few things that was a problem and reason for not having a 5 star rating…the television in the living room did not work. It just kept blinking in and out so we wasn’t able to use it. Same for the microwave, it didn’t come on at all. The unit sleeps up to 8 people so to see that there were only 2 champagne flutes and 3 wine glasses and a few other things didn’t feel right (we left the 6 that we brought). And the same thing when it came to some of the necessities needed when staying in a home away from home. It was 6 of us and we stayed from 3/3 to 3/7 so a good amount of people and stay. There was only one small garbage bag. I’m aware that there are things that you can anticipate on buying ex. seasoning, zip lock bags, Tupperware and obviously food and drinks but we literally had to buy garbage bags, paper towel, dish soap, glass ware, measuring cup, etc and it didn’t feel good. They ask for the amount of days and people when booking so with having that information it should give you a basis on how much you should give and these are things that costs pennies and not going to take away from how much you make. One garbage bag for a small can that fits under a sink is unacceptable. Also having an extra towel or two is a nice touch as well. These are some things that should be considered going forward because as a premiere host there should be some type of wow factor beyond the physical appearance of the unit. The building itself is beautiful and well secured but a lot of things wrong with the operating of the key cards.

Our family enjoyed Fall Break in the condo. We had an amazing time. The views from the huge wrap around patio are just breathe taking! The condo had everything we need with very comfortable beds, great bathrooms and a huge well equipped kitchen. If you get the chance, you should definitely stay here.
