We spent many hours on the balcony overlooking the Spring River falls. Wonderful birdwatching. Fun watching the fishermen and kayakers. The accommodation was adequate. Two bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms were a plus. Very nice shower. Enough of a kitchen to prepare a light meal. Good WiFi and great air conditioning. The host was quick to respond to any issues. The outside needs a lot of maintenance, especially removal of all the poison ivy. I would stay here again.

It was the perfect surprise for my partner! The private balcony overlooking the falls is serene & perfect. Inside of the chateau is the perfect French country feel. Outside feels very New Orleans & we love it there! We’ll be back!

Great location and clean. However, we had incorrect check in information and had to wait for the host to unlock the door to let us in. There was no remote or instructions for the fireplace. There was no cold water in the small bathroom. We also had no hot water for the shower or the hot tub. The hosts did come and attempt to fix the problem but were unsuccessful. If you drink coffee, bring your own. There is a coffee maker but no coffee. We were refunded 90 but that was less than 1/2 of what we paid for the evening. Left without a shower and disappointed.
