Lovely quiet location and really welcoming owner, fire flies at night, little shop attached with lots of supplies

Fely and her family were so welcoming and kind, they put out tea and coffee and did everything they could to make me comfortable. Very nice outdoor spaces to relax. I didn't get any mosquito bites. The location is great, by a little river and paddy fields. It's a beautiful place.
Everything was perfect for a few nights. I think if I had wanted to stay longer it might have felt a little cramped but I stayed 4 nights and it was excellent.

Clean and bright room with an outdoor table and benches on the porch, felt nice and private despite being just by the village road, friendly family-run place, Fely helped order food for us too. Incredible price for such good hospitality! If you’re after a local stay near the chocolate hills this is a great spot!
You do need your own transportation to get there. Moped better than car as parking out front may be limited.

The vew of the various farms surrounding the lodging was energizing. Although a bit out of town center, we enjoyed walking from our unit all the way to Batuan Public Market, as we took many pictures of the various fields and rice farming activities we passed along the way. We didn't even mind that we arrived during a storm. The heavy clouds and hours of rain showers added to the farm experience.
A kettle in the room would have made it easier to have hot water for bathing since the storm made showering cold.
