About this cabin rental
The space:
Cottage #4 has a queen bed in each of the 2 bedrooms and a love seat sized sofa bed. It also has a full kitchen with pots pans and dinnerware, as well as, 2 bathrooms. Both bathrooms have stand up showers. Sleeps up to 5 people. There is solid wifi throughout the property, and we offer TV with Hulu, Disney and ESPN+ channels.
We are a family business that takes pride in our property. We keep our cabins CLEAN and well maintained. We are only 5 minutes in either direction from Lake Placid and Saranac lake. Located right off highway 86 past the Maplefields, but our property is quiet and peaceful. Walk to Maplefields for food and beverage, Ray Brook Brewing Company, Tail O' the Pup outdoor barbecue, the ADK Rail Trail, Jack Rabbit Trail. A short drive to Lake Flower, the Saranac Lake chain, Oseetah and Kiwassa lakes, water sports, Olympic attractions, Whiteface Mountain and all that the region has to offer.
Guest access:
We have free Wifi with access point in each cabin throughout the property. There are charcoal grills for each cabin, Adirondack chairs, picnic tables, fire pits, and horseshoes all free for our guests to use. We sell firewood on the property as well. Parking is plentiful and free. There is a gas station in walking distance that carries groceries, sandwiches, beer, ice , etc.
History of the Property:
Moreno's cottages was founded by Tessie and Tony Moreno in1923. Uncle Tony built this property by hand over the years and Aunt Tessie ran the business with discipline and hard work. The Drake family, with 2 parents and 4 teenage children, is the newest owner of this historic vacation destination since 2021. Todd & Leigh work constantly to make changes or additions to the property to make our guests' stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible.
