wanted to share with you the wonderful time we had during our stay over the 4th weekend at the Lake Travis condo. It was truly a delightful experience, and I wanted to express our gratitude for providing such a cozy and well-equipped unit for our family vacation.The condo had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, from the fully equipped kitchen with an electric stove and a good coffee maker, to the convenient dishwasher and washer/dryer facilities. We particularly enjoyed relaxing on the balcony with a couch while admiring the spectacular view of Lake Travis - it was truly a highlight of our trip.While we had a fantastic time overall, there are a few minor maintenance issues that we noticed during our stay. The outlet in the master bathroom was not working, and there was one outlet in the master bedroom that appeared to be hanging and could pose a potential hazard. Despite these small inconveniences, we all had a blast during our stay. The kids had a great time in their own room with their own TV, and we all made unforgettable memories by the lake, the deers. Rest assured, we are already looking forward to returning for another visit soon.

This is the third time we've stayed at this property while visiting family in Lago Vista. It is perfect for us in every way! The unit is comfortable and the view of the lake is spectacular. We'll be back!

My family including my husband and 2 sons (18 and 20) had a wonderfully relaxing time at this condo. It is in need of some minor repairs but was clean and very comfortable. Be careful of the multiple switches everywhere, as they are not labeled and we had a little issue with the jets in the jacuzzi tub! All in all, a wonderful week- but if you're looking for fancy and high end finishes, not your spot. If you're looking for a gorgeous view and a comfortable place, you won't be disappointed.

Personal opinion/observation: The purpose of this rental unit is solely to make money. There doesn't appear to be any pride of ownership or concern for the guest experience. The unit desperately needs refurbishing in all areas - especially the carpet in the second bedroom, the copper sinks in the master bath, the peeling ceiling in the hall bath, and the windows and doors. When it is windy the air whistles into the unit and when it is extremely windy the air HOWLS into the unit. The unit seemed to be clean for the most part - bare feet did not get dirty and all surfaces were free of dust. However, between the dim lighting and Mediterranean tile everywhere (even the showers) just about everything looked dirty and dingy. My wife kept wiping off the copper sinks in the master bath because they were so badly damaged from improper care they looked disgusting. She also washed the bath rugs because they were matted and dingy - after washing they were fluffy but still dingy - at least we were sure they were clean. As far as the guest experience, there were no glasses in the kitchen - just a few highballs and latte mugs. The sheets on the master bed were old and scratchy. Wine drinkers need to bring their own corkscrew. The hot water took forever to arrive and the pressure in the showers was poor. On the plus side, the air conditioning worked well.

We stayed 5 days and were able to enjoy all of the amenities at the lake. The pool and hot tub were warm enough to use together. The tennis courts were maintained enough to play on. Overall, the view was perfect and relaxing.

The property was nice but wish the website was more updated to current: The indoor pool and one of the outdoor pools were closed and also the restaurant. The VRBO add for the property showed a balcony with a small table gas fireplace, which would have been nice in the evening, but there was no propane tank. The kitchen could have been a little more stocked and cleaner. We did make the best of the trip and took a ride to Fredericksburg and Austin. Not trying to be negative, just honest so this may help the Host and other future guest.

Our children and grand kids live in Lago Vista. We like to stay at the nearby Island so we can enjoy the pool and spread out. The views from our balcony were outstanding! The grandkids love seeing the deer everywhere. We will be back!

This property is not maintained. It is listed as a two bath but the shower in the master bath has a bad mixer valve and cannot get hot water so therefore we had to use the secondary bathroom. Also, the gas fire pit on the balcony does not have a gas container. In addition, the elevator servicing this unit was not functioning so we had to carry all of our belongings up and down three flights of stairs. The view is great so we will probably return sometime but not to this unit.

We’re just going to list what we found absolutely unacceptable -coffee maker didn’t work (mentioned in a previous review -one master sink didn’t drain -found a child’s sock in living room and Bobby pin on master bathroom floor (suggesting floors weren’t cleaned) -massive cob webs in ceiling -ripped ottoman -living room furniture worn (We used extra blankets to cover and sit on) -potato chip in kitchen utensil drawer -dirty pots and pans -half master bathroom lights burned out -1/4 inch dust on every lamp shade, light fixture in entire unit and head board in master bedroom -kitchen cabinets filthy -screws in walls where pictures were removed -all furniture dated beyond decades and empty display shelves-only disgusting fake flowers and a glass mermaid -The entire complex needs to be attended to. Every stair well was packed full of debris and the beautiful stone walls are mildewed. The view was very pretty but the EXTREME stench of sewer gas was disgusting and not to mention unhealthy. One previous review mentioned this but trust us, there’s a problem with this entire complex regarding the odor. The owner was out of the country and someone did message asking how we had settled in. We mentioned the intense odor but received no response. It was built in 1987 and this particular unit has never been painted since is our guess. We chose this rental based on the reviews. We can’t believe anybody found this a worthy rental. We checked out a day(did stay 3 out of 4 nights) early to enjoy the last day of our vacation. We found the location to be what we were looking for away from the city and enjoy ourselves sitting outside, relaxing and cooking our meals. We didn’t cook one meal due to not wanting to spend time there. Positives are nice T.V’s, clean refrigerator and master bed that wasn’t uncomfortable(the dust on the headboard was disgusting) We’ve appreciated many VRBO’s in the past 5 years. This one was by far the only disappointing experience we’ve had.

Overall, the unit was clean and cute. The bathrooms were nice and the linens were good. Beds very comfortable. Unit is comfortable for a family. It worked out great for my grandkids, ages 2 and 8. I would consider staying again. The downside was the kitchen was not well stocked. It did have “ the basics”. Very basic. The coffee machine, single serve, was terrible! I really wanted a good coffee on the balcony! There was no cleaning supplies beside dish soap. We like to clean up the kitchen and had to make due with the hand wipes we brought. The dining table was glass and we couldn’t clean it without streaks. Also, there was a terrible sewer smell outside of the deck. D.

Beautiful hill country area and great view from the Condo balcony. Comfortable beds. Pretty quiet area. Deer everywhere around 4-4:30! Convenient and covered parking. Hostess replied pretty quick when I had questions. Key pad to gate to drive in is a little touchy. Had to touch the numbers just right or wouldn’t be accounted for or showed up twice. That’s not the hostess’ fault. Just giving a heads up. I wasn’t the only one who had trouble with it. I’d recommend this place and just thought about how nice it would be, to be there in cooler weather. Sitting outside on balcony with a glass of wine. Going in August it was kind of hot to sit outside for too long. LOL! Drank our coffee outside in the morning though and it was nice.

This was a Mother-daughter trip. We had a great time. Very clean, beautiful views of the lake. Loved the balcony, pools and hot tub. Beautiful property in a beautiful complex. Nothing negative to say. My only moment of a little hesitation was the elevator to our condo was out of order and we were initially not sure which elevator to take instead since they're numbered by the villas. But I found an employee of the grounds and she directed us. So a mere suggestion would be to inform guests of the alternate elevator #'s closest to that particular condo, in the event it's out of order. Other than that everything was perfect!! Will definitely return and I definitely recommend to come here for serenity, peace and natural beauty. The deer on the periphery of the property were sweet and adorable as well! A true gem! Highly recommend!
