Bernie met us there for check in and showed us around. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and cookware with lots of storage. The screened in porch was our favorite spot. The location is perfect, close to everything, but out of the hustle and bustle. Very cozy place.

Wonderful cottage near the beach and the center of town. Youi can walk everywhere! 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, but two full futons if you have more than 4 guests. Very well decorated. The host was wonderful and easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again!

This was our first visit to Maine. We loved Ogunquit and this quaint house. Bernie is a terrific host. She personally greeted us on day one and walked us through the property. There is an updated kitchen and bathroom with all modern amenities like a dishwasher and enough kitchen gadgets to host a dinner party . The bathroom has a great tub/shower and there is also an outdoor shower. I loved the wide plank original floors and original door knobs to give it that authentic historical feel. The screened in porch is where we had breakfast everyday and the sun just pours in. Let’s talk about the walk to town. The walk to town is lovely and only 5 minutes about depending where you want to go. The walk there is down hill. The walk home is uphill and was hard for my five year old but the rest of us enjoyed the walk. The Walk yo the beach is a bit further so I would recommend (and Bernie will too) that you drop off kids and beach stuff and drive back to walk without it. One day we did pay $15 to park down at the beach because we got lazy. Prices at beach vary from 10-$30 for parking. We absolutely loved our stay. If I had to offer some constructive criticism I would say maybe the pillows could use some updating... but I like a fluffy feather pillow. Easily solved by bringing your own! Bernie was also very very responsive to any question we had during our stay. She is lovely to work with. Tip for families: bring all your own beach gear including boogie boards and big tube like floats to float down the river at the tide changes. We wished we knew that. Or they sell them at the beach and will blow them up for you. Can’t wait to come back to Ogunquit!!
