Welcome to 3rd Ave South in Wedgewood Houston!
Our home is in a quiet neighborhood, situated within an easy walking distance of the casual and fine-dining eateries, bars, coffee shops, breweries and distilleries of Wedgewood Houston. We are conveniently located 5-10 minutes from downtown Nashville by car and 1.3 miles away from lower Broadway. You can easily experience all the legendary honky tonks without all the noise. You can also enjoy the park directly across the street.
Our home was designed with conscious care and the comfort of our guests in mind. You will have access to the entire one-level 1200 sq ft space. The house offers plenty of natural sunlight, high ceilings, and a clean open space. Each room is furnished with a ceiling fan, ample closet place, and a full-length mirror. The kitchen is stocked with the basic amenities needed for coffee and cooking. The washer and dryer is available for guest use.
The door is operated with a personalized access code. You can choose the four-digit code of your liking. The house is equipped with a smart TV, Apple TV, and an Amazon Echo.
Ample street parking is available along the street right outside the door.
Our friend owns the salon next door. If you are interested in booking an appointment let us know and we can provide you with her contact information! Bookings must be made in advance.

It was really clean and comfy. Plenty of space and games! We really appreciated the amount of toilet paper and paper towels. I wish it had salt, pepper, and Tupperware or containers for leftovers but I know sometimes that stuff gets taken. It was a great place close to everything!

The rooms were cleaned but the washer was not working. The outside can be cleaned up. If the fence in the backyard was fixed, deck fixed that area would be nice to sit on. The kitchen sink faucet handle was broken but was still able to turn it on. The ice maker did not work but the water worked from the refrigerator. We had a hard time figuring out how the TV worked. The outside needed some work. Inside was very cute and modern.

Loved this little house! Nicely decorated, very welcoming. Good location, close to downtown, but not in downtown. No crowd, very quiet. The host was communicative & helpful with local recommendations. Super comfortable mattresses. Nice sized rooms. Only downsides were the washer was not usable, the hot water takes a bit to warm up, & the backyard has been neglected. But, even with those minor things, we plan to stay there again soon. We had an excellent stay.

I feel like the communication with the owner could have been better. I had to reach out to him for the entry code. When we arrived the outside walkway and porch were so so dark. We had to use our phones to light up the area. The outside is very overgrown. A wire was laying across the walkway. There is not a deadbolt on the back door which was concerning. The backyard was total disarray. The washing machine did not work. There was a sign on it stating so, luckily we did not need to use it. It would have been nice to know prior to arrival. I'm a pretty understanding person. The shower water was extremely hot or cold. (I did not reach out to the owner, I just expected this to work.) The home itself is cute. It needs a good cleaning and some new window blinds. If I would have looked prior to pulling off the linens, I would have asked for a refund. The beds and pillows were gross. With some work this place has potential.
