Situated in gorgeous mid-coast Maine and conveniently located in Tenants Harbor on the Saint George peninsula, Watts Cove provides the convenience of a full kitchen and two bedrooms. It is a short ten minutes to the quaint fishing village of Port Clyde, fifteen minutes to the Rockland Lobster Festival, thirty minutes to the picturesque Camden harbor and an hour from Boothbay; two hours away from Bar Harbor. There is much to see and do in mid-coast Maine including scenic boat tours, museums, art galleries, theater, lighthouses, beaches, hiking trails and much, much more.
The rental at Watts Cove is situated on a protected wildlife preserve. Great herons, eagles, osprey are common sights. There is plenty of room in this cozy cove-side apartment with two twin beds and one Queen size bed. The apartment is located on the second floor with a deck that overlooks the water with a gorgeous view of the sunset nightly. I truly fell in love with this property. From my arrival just as the sun was setting and seeing the magnificent view from the terrace and the living room and kitchen, to the charmingly furnished comfortable interior. It lacked for nothing. I briefly met Jane, the owner, who was very nice. The property surrounding the house and apartment was beautiful. Open and green, with apple trees, wildflowers and Adirondack chairs, I felt so peaceful and happy there. I highly recommend this place and I would love to go back.. I wish I could post photos but I'm not very techno savvy.

Perfect spot in Maine. St George is tidal and we enjoyed watching the birds at low tide and kayaking at high tide. (Rented a kayak for a week). The apartment feels like a little cottage but upstairs. It has spices and odds and ends that we find helpful, kitchen is well stocked with pots etc. We will be back! We’ve stayed several places in Maine over the years and this is the one we keep coming back to. A quiet little piece of Maine.

Our family stayed at the property for five days. Adequate space and amenities for a low key vacation for family of four. Recommend taking before and after pictures of cleanliness of apartment. Cleaning crew reported false allegations of us leaving the apartment in a poor state. Our family will not be returning.
