Villa Calamona

Un luogo paradisiaco tra natura e silenzio con una casa ben fornita con vista mozzafiato e la comodità di avere la spiaggia privata pulita e di ciottoli sotto a due passi. Alberi da frutto, pleniluni e tramonti meravigliosi, e l’accoglienza di Nicola che se resterà ancora anche il prossimo anno sarà un altro valido motivo per tornare! Ha pensato ad ogni necessità, ovviamente nei limiti delle sue possibilità.

Il wi fi funziona molto male, per cui non è una vacanza idonea per chi non ama stare scollegato dal mondo. Inoltre il primo giorno arrivati si è rotto uno dei due condizionatori del nostro appartamento con tre camere da letto, Nicola ci ha fornito di un ventilatore ma si è sofferto un po’ il caldo perché in due delle tre camere da letto non c’è condizionatore e si rinfrescano con quello del Soggiorno che è stato cambiato solo il giorno prima che partissimo.

Un soggiorno eccezionale. La casa si trova in una posizione isolata e assolutamente stupenda, l'ideale per chi cerca privacy e vuole staccare davvero la spina. Il vero punto di forza della struttura è la discesa a mare privata: una comodità impagabile che permette di godersi l'acqua in totale tranquillità, lontano dalla folla delle spiagge pubbliche, e perfetta per entrare in mare direttamente da casa. Tutto esattamente come descritto. Consigliatissima.

We were there for only a short stay. The location of the property is unique and fascinating, completely immersed in the nature and with a direct access to a stone beach/bay that was equally stunning. The property manager, Nicola, was extremely helpful and accommodating. A very nice and friendly person with lots of tips helping during the stay. We loved exploring the area surrounding the property, with lots of trees. The view at night from the top terrace was something we will remember for some time. Overall an experience to remember and possibly repeat.

Some of the reviews we read before our booking we found being accurate, others a bit personal. The access road was not easy and not for new drivers. The beds were not the most comfortable and overall the interior is really dated and in need of upgrade. Bathroom and kitchen small but acceptable for a short stay. AC system in full working order with some minor fix required. The access to the private beach is steep but not an issue for a fit person. Yes there were mosquitos and geckos but this is typical of a rural area in summertime in this region.
