Stylish Apartment with Castle View & Free Parking

The apartment is very nice, clean, and spacious enough for two to three people. It has been renovated and is located in an old tobacco factory. The city center is about 15 minutes away, which is great. There is an Italian restaurant nearby that is open until around 10 p.m. Other shops and restaurants are at least a 10-minute walk from the accommodation. The accommodation includes a free parking spot, which we appreciated, and the building also has a concierge.

Being located in an old tobacco factory, the building is mainly used for business offices. It takes around five minutes to reach the apartment once you enter the building, so it gives off a bit of a creepy vibe, as it is an old communist-era building and is empty on weekends. Otherwise, it is safe! A deposit of €300 is required, which should be clearly stated in the accommodation description, rather than only at the end of the booking page. This would make things more transparent. We did get our deposit back without any issues, and the host was kind enough to lower the amount since we hadn't seen this information before. However, during our messages, he said the deposit would be €150 because I "seemed like a decent person," and then changed his mind at check-in and asked for €200. The main issue with this accommodation was the host, whose attitude is that, and I quote, "there is only 2% of decent people." I think that speaks for itself. The whole interaction gave us a very unpleasant vibe and made us uncomfortable because he repeatedly emphasized that if we were "decent enough," everything would be fine with the deposit. It felt as though we were children who needed to be taught how to behave rather than adults. All in all, the apartment is simply not worth the price, considering the location and the overall vibe.

Centrally located, very clean, well-equipped, spacious apartment in original tobacco factory. Parking onsite was fantastic. Igor is an amazing host. Very helpful and informative about places to go and see.

Igor is very attentive and has lots of information about the city. The apartment is only a 10 minute walk to the river and centre - great location. The flat is very cute. Loved the stay and the host!

For us (2 adult and 2 teenagers) it might have been a bit small as our kids need their privacy and space. But if you don't have moody teenagers then it's not a problem!
