About this house rental

Beautiful Colonial home is nestled in a section surrounded by the Natchaug State Forest. It is close to Route 44, 101 & Interstate 395! The home has hardwood flooring throughout. With 7 rooms, 3 bedrooms (upper level) & 2 full baths and 1 half bath. The large modern kitchen opens to the dining and living rooms. The kitchen has granite counter tops and center island, a large over-sized refrigerator / freezer. A bonus room on the first floor off the kitchen could be used as an office, den or play room. Our home sleeps 6. The master suite has a walk in closet, master bath and double sinks. A second floor laundry, 2 car garage and pull down attic space. Full unfinished walk out basement. Large 5 acre lot bordering the Natchaug State Forest.

We are available for daily nights, weekly or monthly. (two days minimum)
We located in the northeastern corner of Connecticut, called the “Quiet Corner” of New England, in Pomfret, Connecticut close to Route 44, 101 & Interstates 84 & 395. We are nestled in the forest, far from the stress of daily life. In the area, you’ll find fresh fruit and vegetable stands, orchards, vineyards, historic towns, art galleries, antique markets and shops, lakes and streams, and several state parks. The state "Airline Trail" offers 50 miles of hiking, biking and horse riding trails. The Natchtaug State forest borders our property. The Mashamoquet State Park and the Audubon Sanctuary are 4 miles away. You can also drive a short distance to the Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Casinos, Old Sturbridge Village and Mystic Seaport. It is also less than an hour's drive from Hartford, Providence and Worcester and only a 20 mile drive from the University of Connecticut at Storrs. Boston is 90 miles Northeast and New York City 150 miles Southwest. Enjoy long walks in the woods, cross-country skiing, fishing, or just for a place to get away from it all.
Our Home is only a few minutes to Pomfret and Rectory Schools, as well as the numerous scenic drives, destination restaurants, antique stores and boutiques in Windham County.
