Beautiful Villa Ocean Spy Villa 9F

This villa is super close to Oualie Beach, making it extremely easy to get to. We had a taxi (Kenny - EZ Taxi and Tours) to help us with an island tour - AMAZING! We learned so much about Nevis. Also, we did The Hamilton Tour with Nevis Sun Tours, and a wonderful Nevisian dinner at Passions restaurant. Greg and Yvette are super at arranging additional transportation. And our sunset tour left from the beach at Hamilton - a must do; seeing Nevis from the water is a must! The outside of the property was a bit tired, but the inside of the villa was quite impressive and spacious. We did not cook while we were there; the Yachtsman Grill was a perfect place to have any meal. The associates at the Yachtsman were super to engage with; the food delicious. The beach is incredible; having the towels in the unit were perfect for our sunning. At night, tree frogs lull you to sleep. I did use the gym for a treadmill walk and was able to see green velvet monkeys on the roof of the spa as they ventured down for their morning jaunt.We understand there is a plan to update the pools this year and expand the restaurant fare with another small counter service restaurant, as well as refresh the outside. This will make the stay even better! Other restaurants are super close at Pinney's Beach. We were super lucky to watch the Super Bowl at Sunshine's, and also visit Nevis Peak Brewery. Both are not to be missed! We have made many friends on Nevis and we will return again.

We found our rental a good value. The location is not beach front as the photo implies. It is a 3 minute walk to the unit from the beach. The beach is flat, sand good, beach chairs nice and no reason to rush out and reserve one. Rent a small SUV to get around. Barefoot next door and Indian Summer has good food to walk to. The restaurant there has good pizza but were not impressed with anything else they served.
