Relax Lakeside is a 4 bedroom 2 bathroom Five Mile Bay bach at Lake Taupo. With only a walkway between you and the waters edge, enjoy the views and peaceful scenery from this typical old style character bach!
This 2 storey Five Mile Bay bach includes laid back open plan living with a fireplace to keep you toasty when the weather's cooler. For the ultimate summer stay, fire up the BBQ and take in the lake views... The large section is great for family games in the sun, or head to the waters edge just moments from your door for strolls around the lake!
Downstairs at this Five Mile Bay accommodation, bedroom 1 includes two single beds. Bedroom 2 has a single bunk set plus a single bed, and bedroom 3 includes 2 single beds. Upstairs, bedroom 4 also has a queen bed.
For a simple holiday set up, there is a bathroom on each floor.
Everything you need for a no fuss family getaway at the lake are on hand, or head into town a 10 minute drive away...

This property can accommodate up to 9, provided that there is maximum of 7 adults and the rest of the 2 should be children (due to the bunk beds only being suitable for children).
Guests with young children are advised some of the windows on the 2nd level that open are quite low to the ground and therefore may not be suitable for a child's room if the windows are open
As the property has unfenced access to the lake, adults should closely supervise young children while outside to ensure they are safe around water

Great house, well stocked kitchen with everything we needed. Bonus having a fireplace and a woodshed with dry firewood. It was perfect for our family get-together. Would definitely stay again - but maybe in summer!

This place was great , A true Bach and we felt right at home , Location was fantastic with the lake only a few steps from the house as well as having the bike/walk path right there for those evening strolls , All in all a great time at this place .
We will be back next year

Fantastic location. Upstairs very comfortable and well equipped,downstairs quite old and run down and quite cold.had problem with heaters tripping fuse. Overall very enjoyable stay,enjoyed log burner.
