Some of the plates are not clean and need some maintenance

I've found some wonderful places on Booking in the past but I cannot think of anything that has matched Moonfleet - it was simply superb, we all loved it and would have loved to have stayed longer (there's already plans for a return visit). Loved it, BRILL..am running out of superlatives

Going home! Didn't find anything negative so there's nothing to say here - we all felt 'at home' in the first 5 mins

The location was excellent. We enjoyed the coastal path walks and in particular the walk to the Manor Hotel. It was a joy to wake up each morning to such beautiful views. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace outside watching the sunset. As for the interior it is a light and bright cottage with good views both upstairs and downstairs. Super king sized bed in master bedroom is comfy. Double bed in the second bedroom is small if you are used to sleeping in a king at home.

The cottage was “tired” and in need of some redecoration. The bathroom and toilet downstairs were basic. The dining area is nice and light (the windows could do with a good clean inside and out). The kitchen was ok but not brilliant. It is well stocked however. The upstairs toilet is separate to the master bedroom and very basic. The shower room in the master bedroom is small but adequate. The cottage is ok. Apart from the location there is no WOW factor to it. Because it is in a row of houses you are on top of the residents next door. Every conversation can be heard. It felt a little uncomfortable at times.
