€10 per night per additional adult, up to 6 beds.
July and August reservation 4 days minimum.
For your holidays in Hourtin, you will appreciate our house on the edge of the forest, you will have peace and will be halfway to the lake or the ocean.
The center of the village and the beaches of the lake are easily accessible by bike, taking the bike path 2 minutes from us.
the ocean is 10 minutes by car.
Adjoining our house upstairs, the cottage is completely independent, you will have a wooden terrace and an enclosed garden with gas plancha, 4-seater garden furniture, 2 deck chairs, table and chairs for meals,
Ideal for 2 couples or a large family, the cottage has 2 bedrooms each with 1 bed for 2 people and 2 single bunk beds,
1 bathroom, 1 toilet,
1 very bright main room with fully equipped open kitchen, hotplates, fridge, dishwasher, combined oven/microwave.
a dining area comprising a large dining table, 8 chairs and a small lounge area.
In the village, you will have many shops, bakery, butcher, pizzeria, restaurants, bar, tobacconist, press, minimarket, hairdresser and supermarket.
On request, we can lend you a baby bed, a stroller and a high chair.

The kitchen area was a little cramped and the garden could have done with improved privacy but this is an excellent location for a quiet holiday for 2-4 people near the Atlantic coast. A car is essential to make the most of the area including the fantastic beaches and supermarket (Super U) and to obtain access to the railway stations for travel to Bordeaux.

The property is clean and tidy and entirely functional we stayed there with our dog for just over 3 weeks.
The property owner lives next door and is helpful and friendly without being intrusive.
Altogether there were 8 bed spaces 2 x bunk beds and 2 x double beds.
I would say that any more than 4 people would be uncomfortable as there is a small bathroom and one toilet. I would recommend the property with that in mind.
It's a short drive to the beach or the lake and both of them are stunning .
The town is walkable 15 to 20 minutes and that is also lovely

Le gîte est situé à un endroit extrêmement calme très proche de la nature. Il est très lumineux, des fenêtres partout et très bien équipé, et avec goût, ce qui est parfois du luxe pour un gîte. Hôtes charmants et très discrets. Merci beaucoup!

Excellent séjour dans ce joli logement. Tout est bien pensé, il ne manque rien... et les repas pris sur la terrasse donnent un avant goût de l'été trèèèèès agréable !!!
