First, the view was amazing! We love the location, which is close to everything from Dollywood to shopping to restaurants. We were looking forward to seeing the fireworks from the balcony, but realized there were none the weekend we were there. The roads to the cabin were quite steep. Watch your step outside carefully because we almost had a couple of people roll down the hill! :) Check-in was a breeze. We were missing the sheets for the two sofa beds so I called the owner and within 30 minutes he brought them. We later realized the 1st floor bedding was blood stained from the comforter down to the sheets. We washed the sheets ourselves. My guess is the previous guests didn't unmake the bed, and the housekeeper probably thought they were clean. Thankfully, I brought detergent. The kids (ages 3-7) loved the 1st floor games. The air hockey table didn't blow air, but they still played with it. We had plenty of paper towels, trash bags, and toilet paper for our crew. We ran out of hot water once, but that was after filling up the jacuzzi upstairs. Otherwise, we had enough for everyone but we also timed our showers so we weren't all showering back-to-back just in case! Overall, we had an enjoyable trip and the amazing view was worth it!

We had a fair time. Close to many attractions and things to do. But this is supposed to be a pet friendly cabin and there is no place to walk your pet. The house is on such a slant on the hill that I fell getting out of my car. You say you have a Fully stock kitchen, but there’s no can opener. You don’t have a strainer and there’s not enough large mixing bowls. We are a family that cooks. You have tons of pots , and you only have one super large frying pan and one very small frying pan and nothing in between. The pool table is not even worth playing on. You need to Rehfeldt the table and put new bumpers around the pool table. When you hit the ball, it doesn’t even bounce off the side. It’s so old and dried out. my husband tried to play a game and you couldn’t even play. The best thing that we liked about the cabin was the hot water and the shower. The cabin was acceptable, but could use a better cleaning. Lots of dust under the beds and the floor could use a good washing. We were there when the hurricane came through and it rained for two or three days. One thing that you don’t have is a rug by the door. No place to wipe your feet and all that water was getting tracked into the house all the time. You need a table in the kitchen. There’s nothing to prep food on. When you put stuff on the counters, then there’s no place to prep the food. A small kitchen table or butcher block in the middle of your kitchen. Would sure help with prepping.
