Welcome to Casa de la Vista, your private beachfront home in an exclusive, upscale area of the Placencia Peninsula. The home blends comfort with Caribbean charm and amazing ocean and mountain views. Upstairs is the main, light filled, open living area along with 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and a fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy the mesmerizing ocean views from each of the living areas as well as the outdoor veranda which runs the length of the house overlooking your private beach and ocean. French Doors lead from the Living Room and Master Bedroom to the large covered veranda. From the veranda is a spiral staircase leading to a private rooftop deck with beautiful 360 degree views of the Caribbean sea, 20 islands, the back-bay, Mayan mountains and stunning sunsets.
This is the most beautiful area of the Peninsula and is conveniently located just a mile north of Maya Beach where you will find groceries, great restaurants and bars. We are away from the noise and dust of Placencia Village but it is an easy drive down the main paved road to the Village where you will find numerous great shops, restaurants, beach bars, vegetable stands and live music.
Swim, snorkel, beachcomb or relax in the pool or a hammock on the deck - all available here at your vacation home. We have paddeboards and bikes to enhance your beach vacation. Belize is an amazing natural wonder with the 2nd largest barrier reef in the world. Exceptional diving, snorkeling, fishing, hiking, bird watching, kayaking, Mayan ruins, cave tubing, zip lining, jungle hikes and waterfalls as well as cave spelunking. Our local Manager can be your tour guide or setup your excursions to Monkey River, the ATM cave, deep-sea fishing, zip lining, diving and snorkeling tours. You can charter a private boat to pick you up in front of the house on the pier. After a day of exploring the many wonders of Belize, return home for a refreshing dip in your private pool or a swim in the calm, warm Caribbean waters from your beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. We traveled with our two children ages 6 and 9 and they loved the pool and the beach. The pool was shaded which was wonderful as we didn't have to worry about sunscreen while they were in the pool. The location is great and close to the restaurants and markets. The home was well equipped with everything we needed. We ate out half the time and cooked food the other half. We used the charcoal grill and the charcoal can be purchased at the grocery store in Plascencia. We did a snorkel tour with Leo's company and it was the highlight of the trip. The islands that we visited were breathtaking, turquoise water and white powder beaches. We saw eagle rays, nurse sharks, and lots of colourful fish. We also did the waterfall at Maya King which was amazing. We highly recommend this home!

This place is exactly like the pictures! It was beautiful, clean, and spacious. The host was easy to contact and prompt in all correspondents. Enjoyed the pool and waking to a lovely view of the beach. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Our family of six had a wonderful stay at Casa de La Vista. The house was located in a quiet part of the peninsula. We did several excursions from the house. Our kids made the best of the beach with the sargassum and used the pool every day. The house was well equipped. I'm pretty sure we used everything at least once, including board games. We cooked most of our meals at the house. It had all the basics. We would definitely stay at Casa de La Vista again. Christine was easy to reach and answered our questions as they came up.

What an amazing stay! The house is even more beautiful in person and the location can’t be beat! The host and property manager were always available and answered all our questions. Leo set up a private snorkeling trip for us. Amazing views and comfortable accommodations. Can’t wait to return!
