About this villa rental
WE ASK THAT YOU SEND AN INQUIRY PRIOR TO AN ACTUAL BOOKING REQUEST SO THAT WE CAN COVER A FEW HOA RULES BEFORE A BOOKING REQUEST IS SUBMITTED IN ORDER TO AVOID BOOKING DECLINES / WITHDRAWALS.
Our villa was built in 2007 and is in a quiet development with 700 feet of lakeshore and a public boat landing 1/2 mile away. It has a sandy beach and gradual elevation to the lake. The main floor has a modern kitchen, a great room with hardwood floors and a 16 ft stone fireplace, two bedrooms, and a full bath. The loft has the master bedroom and large master bath. There is also an unfinished basement with a pool table and air hockey table.
Our western exposure means the sunsets are amazing.

We offer the following amenities: a/c, washer/dryer, all kitchen utensils and pots and pans, blender, coffee maker, bedding (no bath or beach towels), 50' flat screen television with DVD in great room, 40' flat screen television with DVD in loft, 13 cable channels (ABC, NBC, History, Hallmark, Fox, etc), cd player, dock, boat lift (not to exceed 3,000 lbs), gas grill, firepit, and pool table. The villa has 1 king, 1 queen, and 2 twin beds and can sleep up to 7 people.
There is NO WIFI AT THE VILLA but you will get internet service thru your mobile phones.
Please note that we have a policy of No Pets and No Smoking (anywhere on the property). .

Very nice! Villa was clean and spacious for our family get away. The pool table was definitely a family favorite since the weather was not entirely cooperative but that is MN for you

The cabin is great! Really enjoyed the deck space and the upstairs master area was quite spacious and comfortable for sleeping. The kitchen was well equipped. The lawn was safe for our granddaughter to walk down to the water's edge. The lake is small so there was not much boat traffic, even for a Labor Day weekend. There is a little restaurant in walking distance from the cabin which was fun to have so close. We loved the location as it was close to Glenwood and Alexandria to enjoy the downtown, farmer's market, winery and brewery. We brought our own boat and the access was close by. The only drawback for me was that you are close to the road so you hear a bit of road traffic and the cabins are close to each other but the cabins on either side were empty so it didn't matter for us.Mary is an excellent communicator and gave me several fun options to explore in the area. It was a great stay and we had a wonderful time.

It was a beautiful, clean cabin and it had everything we needed. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. The kids loved the pool table and air hockey table on the rainy day we had. We used the paddle boat quite a bit, but a boat rental nearby would have also been quite affordable if we’d gone that route. The only downside was when we were there the lake had a lot of algae and weeds, so we couldn’t swim at the cabin. We went nearby to a public beach on Maple Lake to swim, but it would have been better to be able to swim where we were. Perhaps it was the time of year we went or the weather this year or something (mid August) — not sure. Cabins were all fairly close together, but we didn’t really see the neighbors much so it still felt pretty private. Minus the swimming situation, I would definitely recommend. I’m picky about clean accommodations, and this one was great and really nice!

Lots of space, comfortable, deck was great, lake was fantastic, pool table n the basement was very handy and the Lake Reno Bar and Grill being a 2 minute walk was the best, we didn’t do much groceries other than stuff for breakfast and snacks so we ate supper there all three nights. The staff down there The bar and Grill was awesome.
