Our updated 5 bedroom (with 2 Queen beds in each room) and 2 bathroom cabin is perfect for a group or family getaway!

We had a lovely friend's and family weekend celebrating my 30th birthday! The cabin was a great place to stay while adventuring nearby and trying horseback riding, river rafting, and finding goodies at the farmers market and vintage malls. We especially loved the outdoor tables and grill!

Absolutely gorgeous location - close to the lake, hiking trails, but still a short drive from town if you need. The property was very large and well able to handle our family get together: the large kitchen and table was perfect and the living room very cozy. Our family had members that couldn't come last minute so we could fit comfortably downstairs, but there was an entire kitchenette and second living room upstairs for groups that need the space.

We had a great time in the house. We had plenty of room and supplies we needed. We did have one issue. The stairs were very slippery. Even with the handrail my daughter slipped on the top stairs and landed on her back. They need some kind of slip proof put on.

To begin with, I knew there was no WiFi but did not expect absolutely no connection, we had Verizon, US Cellular and T-Mobile and we had zero bars, couldn’t make a call if we wanted to call 911. The home is very weirdly structured, upstairs has its own kitchen, living space aside from the main ones downstairs, lights all over the house are very dim (several bulbs out around the house). I was hoping for more of a isolated home but there are several homes close by with not much privacy and A LOT of activity. Saturday night one of the neighbors had a party of some sort and the music was extremely loud till about 3am. When we went the lake we had some of the home owners from near by tell us we could not access that entrance even though we had a key fob, it seemed we were not welcome. We have stayed in the area before and never had such rude encounters. I spoke to Mike, the owner before our stay and he was very friendly but this home is not one I would return to.
