Magnificent location - private, yet with neighbours close by and a 5 min walk to the local supermarket. Only 10 - 30min walk to two fabulous beaches and small harbour also in exceptionally scenic location. Even in mixed weather we were able to have several hours at the beach daily and visit local National Park for walks and art exhibition & Kylemore Abbey with its beautiful Victorian walled garden, Clifden town (half an hour by car) and the coral beaches on its other side. There's horse riding locally too. Social distancing etiquette & mask wearing in local shop close to excellent so felt safe in early days of restrictions being lifted for Covid 19. Lots of space & facilities for extended family.
My bed was a small bit creaky and the main downstairs bathroom could have done with a better shower in the bath although it suited me as it was - I could wash my hair with it. These were only reasons didn't give it 100% and it would have been more comfortable - with information on hand etc - were it not for Covid 19 restrictions when we stayed.
