Beautiful character apartment with modern comfort

Very comfortable stay, all facilities needed were available. Apartment spotless and fresh very comfortable beds beautiful old building. Loved the beautiful clawfoot bath.

The location is lovely, river views. The nearest restaurant is Greek, extremely friendly and delicious.

The street side bedroom was a bit nosy with commuters and heavy lorries in the early hours.

Very nice apartment overlooking the river.

Very straightforward key collection. The apartment is located in a very nice old building. Facilities in the house are very nice, bathroom and kitchen. Good towels, nice beds and a nice balcony overlooking the river.

1) I expected some coffee supplies for the coffee machine, true I should have asked for it. 2) There is a washing area and some garbage cans. During the weekend was a bit messy, dryers not emptied.

Hidden gems in Bad Ems

We love this place! Spacious, clean, and well-maintained 2-bedroom apartment, high-quality kitchenette and cooking utensils, with a five-star class hotel bathroom. Each bedroom has TV with digital box, stable wifi signal, plus washing machine and dryer in ground floor. Free parking lot is also available nearby.

Große Schlafzimmer, großer Bad Bereich. Küche gut eingerichtet. Alles qualitativ hochstehend. Wohn/ essbereich tip top großzügig. Aufzug in die Etage - sehr geschmackvoll-. Einfache freundliche schlüsselübergabe .

Mehr Schein als Sein.

Die Betten ebenso wie die Sitzgelegenheiten waren recht bequem. Die Wohnungen waren geräumig und sehr schön warm bzw. angenehm geheizt trotz kalter Temperaturen draußen. Der Aufzug neu und bequem. Das Silvesterfeuerwerk auf dem Balkon war ganz toll dank der schönen Lage. Auch das Einchecken und Auschecken waren unkompliziert, wenngleich anders als vorab vom Vermieter kommuniziert. Die Kaffee/Teeausstattung in der Küche war gut. Waschmaschine/Trocknerraum waren super. Kühlschrank und Spülmaschine ebenfalls. Bedienungsanleitungen für alle Geräte vorhanden.

Die Böden waren sehr dreckig (vgl. Bilder der Socken nach 2 min). Überall, auch auf goldenen Armaturen, lag eine ordentliche Schicht Staub. Im Mülleimer in der Küche war noch der Müll der Vormieter. Die Wassereinstellung war mäßig, da es lange dauerte, bis das Wasser warm wurde. Teilweise kam zwischendurch wieder kaltes Wasser. Die Regendusche duschte wegen des vielen Kalks vor allem die Wände. Der Toilettendeckel fiel einem jedes Mal auf den Rücken, wenn man sich auf die Toilette setzte. Einen Rasierspiegel über dem Waschbecken gab es nicht, da der Spiegel zwischen den Becken angebracht ist. Es gab nur einen kleinen Tisch in der Küche. In einer der beiden von uns gemieteten Wohnungen war das Tischbein des Tisches so gut wie abgefallen, sodass der Tisch kaum zu benutzen war. Von den in der Gästebroschüre angegebenen, abgezählten Handtüchern und Trinkgläsern war nur ein geringer Teil da (4 Gläser, 0 Geschirrtücher und 0 Gästehandtücher). Auf die Angaben in der Broschüre kann man sich somit nicht verlassen. Die Safes in beiden Wohnungen waren verschlossen und unbenutzbar. Die Läden in Richtung Straße sind alt und verdunkeln nicht vollständig, darüber hinaus hört man den Verkehr der Straße sehr deutlich. Die Kommunikation mit dem durchaus freundlichen Verwalter war gewöhnungsbedürftig: Zunächst war eine Übergabe der Schlüssel zu einer bestimmten Zeit vereinbart, dann hieß es kurzfristig, diese können beim Griechen nebenbei abgeholt werden, was auch klappte. Auf den Hinweis bzgl der Ausstattung, des kaputten Tisches und der nicht funktionsfähigen Safes wurde zugesagt, dass man sich kümmern würde. Dann bekamen wir 1 (!) Küchentuch und ein schmutziges Duschtuch wurde ersetzt. Sonst passierte nichts. Natürlich sind dies alles Sachen, mit welchen man leben kann, aber angesichts des durchaus nicht allzu geringen Preises kann man mE etwas mehr erwarten.
