How about a beautiful secluded cabin in the Kiamichi Mountains of southeast Oklahoma? Two cabins only on forty acres, with terrific views of the mountains. The Sunrise Cabin has two bedrooms, with a full kitchen, and very comfy beds.
Need peace and quiet? We have it. Need excitement? Hiking available from the cabins. ATVing, 1 mile away. The Talimena Scenic Skyline Drive, ten minutes. Kayaking, a forty minute drive.
We are only 4 hours from Dallas and OKC.

We went to Sunrise cabin at Peckerwood Knob cabins for a Fourth of July girls trip with our pups. It could not have been more perfect. Ed and Patrice were wonderful hosts. Check in without an issue was a breeze. The cabin itself was amazing. Everything we needed was there, from the kitchen to the bathrooms and the living room overlooking the deck, everything we wanted for our stay. The most amazing part of all was the view, spectacular, isn’t enough to describe it. The porch and deck were our favorite places and our pups loved roaming around the wide open spaces. We will definitely be returning. We’ve already set aside time for fall. Looking forward to another trip to beautiful Sunrise cabin thank you Ed and Patrice. Tammy&Chris

We stay in VRBO cabins all the time and this was the most enjoyable stay yet. The view is magical! it was so clean ans had everything we needed. I was neevous about the no TV but it provided some much needed quality time. The hammock was my favorite part and we enjoyed staying warm by the fireplace. We plan to be back many more times.

My husband and I decided to spend Christmas at the Sunrise cabin with our daughters and dogs. We brought our girls stockings and presents. The owners had a Christmas tree up for us and we were able to have a truly beautiful and unique Christmas up on Peckerwood Knob!!As the beautiful sunrise was coming through the floor-to-ceiling windows, our girls were opening their presents. We will never forget it. We hiked, visited nearby Beavers Bend, the girls loved the hammock!! And we had the best fires in the fireplace every night! The owners supplied all the firewood we needed and the place was spotless and had everything we needed. We definitely recommend this cabin. We will never forget it.
