Need peace and quiet? We have it. Need excitement? Hiking available from the cabins. ATVing, 1 mile away. The Talimena Scenic Skyline Drive, ten minutes. Kayaking, a forty minute drive.

We stay in VRBO cabins all the time and this was the most enjoyable stay yet. The view is magical! it was so clean ans had everything we needed. I was neevous about the no TV but it provided some much needed quality time. The hammock was my favorite part and we enjoyed staying warm by the fireplace. We plan to be back many more times.

My husband and I decided to spend Christmas at the Sunrise cabin with our daughters and dogs. We brought our girls stockings and presents. The owners had a Christmas tree up for us and we were able to have a truly beautiful and unique Christmas up on Peckerwood Knob!!As the beautiful sunrise was coming through the floor-to-ceiling windows, our girls were opening their presents. We will never forget it. We hiked, visited nearby Beavers Bend, the girls loved the hammock!! And we had the best fires in the fireplace every night! The owners supplied all the firewood we needed and the place was spotless and had everything we needed. We definitely recommend this cabin. We will never forget it.
