We had a good time and loved the proximity to the beach, the front porch, and the air conditioning. We do think the owners should consider the following if they want people to continue to rent their house: 1). WiFi - doesn't work well - slow and inconsistent; texting slow - should be an easy fix that would be extremely helpful. 2). TV upstairs - couldn't get it to work. 3). Oven doesn't work well - 45 minutes at 350 had our dinner in need of much more cooking at a higher temp. If possible, have it re-calibrated - or at least leave directions so others know its idiosyncrasies. 4). Some toilets don't flush well - handle must be held down extended time to get it to flush properly 5). The grill is small and dirty 6). House desperately needs a second garbage can outside. While we made sure to put as much trash out as possible for Friday pickup, we still had plenty in the can this morning, something that will be a problem for your next renters since Tuesday is the next pickup day.

Our family enjoyed being at the Ford house for the week and found it well stocked for our cooking needs. We look forward to returning next year. There are a few things that we think the owners would like to know for the comfort and enjoyment of their future guests. 1). The toilets run slow, not always completely emptying, so a plumber might need to be called to check on the plumbing system. 2). The WiFi is weak, which can be a problem since families often come with a variety of devices and sometimes have to do some work while on vacation. 3). The charcoal grill available for the renters to use is too small for the size of the house and its occupancy. It also still seemed warm two days after it was used, which could be a safety issue. My family was afraid to put it back in the garage. 4). The front bedroom is warmer than the rest of the house. Overall the air conditioning is great, except in this room. We love the proximity to the beach and the front porch. One of the hammocks came out of the wall when my son was on it, causing him to fall flat on the floor, but maintenance was prompt in fixing it and checking both of the hammocks to make sure they are safe. Thank you.

Lost internet/TV for 36+ hours - apparent owner issue with provider. Master bedroom TV never reconnected with internet rendering it as unusable. Smoke detector in master bedroom went off at 5 am one morning - there was no smoke or fire. Turning ceiling fan off switch off solved the issue. Elevator was not available for use. knives in kitchen were very dull and needed sharpening.
