Lovely property with spectacular views of surroundings in a private setting. Good value for the money as you get the entire house (2 bedrooms /2 bathrooms, etc…), a pool, and lovely outdoor spaces to enjoy. The host was also very prompt in returning messages / answering questions.

The house surpassed expectations - it was even better than the photos. The location was perfect for us - totally private with no near neighbours, and a beautiful view. The house was very clean , comfortable, and equipped with everything you would find in your own home.
After being out and about during the day, evenings were spent relaxing on the terrace with a glass of wine, watching the sun go down. It was totally idyllic in every way.
Caminito del Rey is a must - the whole area around El Chorro is very beautiful. All in all, we had a brilliant holiday - a great mix of 'doing' and 'chilling'!
Thanks to Jose and his wife for easy check-in/out. Highly recommend!

Booked easily through VRBO who we have used before. We met the owners in the village who escorted us to the property. Sadly, we don't speak Spanish but we managed to communicate ok. On arrival, we were enchanted by the views which were even better than the photos suggested. We loved everything about the villa which is in a beautiful tranquil setting. The pool, which we used every day was great.
Shopping for groceries was easy in Antequera and a small supermarket was even closer if needed. The owners allowed us privacy but were at the end of the phone if we needed anything. Thank you Jose for translating and thank you to your lovely mum and dad for looking after us.

Absolutely beautiful area, stunning views & so peaceful .. We recently retired & had 5 glorious weeks here & will definitely return .. if you are looking for a relaxing rural retreat then this is for you .. very comfortable accommodation ..
The village of La Joya is about a mile away has a couple of bars & a restaurant.. but check opening times ..
La Joya has no shops . but there is a village 6miles away where you can get everything you need ..
also there are more bars .. Resturant’s ..a butcher’s & supermarkets ..
you do really need a car
