The location is perfect. My best friend and I stay in this exact condo every year for the past 5 years. The location in the Taft district is ideal for us. The view is amazing, and the condos are on the smaller side and feels more intimate with direct beach access.

Last year we were moved to a different condo due to some water damage. I don’t think the remediation was done e correctly because this year the condo was very musky. It smelled like old mold. The metal spice tins in the cabinet had actual mold spots on them. The wall in the living room was plastered but not painted. When I got home all of my clothes smelled moldy. We decided this is our last stay at the DOB. Which is sad but necessary. The cost and fees is getting out of control and the quality is no longer in alignment to pencil out.

The kitchen was exceptionally well appointed. Lots of cookware and tableware. There is a spice rack and basic spices as well as salt and pepper.

The condo was definitely clean but there is a musty smell throughout. We bought candles for every room but it didnt help much. I think the wall heat units need to be taken apart and cleaned for sure
