Simple budget sleep...

Quiet location 10mins walk to Central Square. Unit clean and host helpful.

Grounds rather unkempt. Access to unit bad aa have to pass through one bedroom! The main door not accessible!!

Grandma's Apartment Experience

The location was perfect for us, next to Kalampaka city and the meteorian rock's and also easy to visit all the monasteries. Good cooking facilities, everything we needed to cook a nice meal after the hike.

The only thing that was a little uncomfortable was the shower (even tho it was warm and good pressure) you couldn't hang up the shower head and you almost stood into the toilet.

Exceptional

Comfortable, spacious and cozy rooms. It even had a children's room (not mentioned in the description but more than welcome) fully equipped with a baby crib, toys etc that our kids more than loved. Kitchen was equipped with all that was needed for making lunch/dinner as well as basic provisions to complement our breakfast. The apartment's temperature made you not want to exit outside! Bathroom had extra equipment that helped us out (for example baby's bath) All rooms had more than enough wall sockets and the lighting was ample. We didn't have to wait at all for our check-in and check-out, the host was more than friendly and accommodating. Really nice spot, about 5-10 minutes walking distance from downtown, yet far enough so we could always park just outside without any hassle.

Someone (probably the previous guests) had used the electric kettle to heat something they shouldn't have. The result was that the kettle from the inside had a fully white crust (We are guessing milk) and we had quite a hard time scrubbing it off in order to use it ourselves. The host probably missed it because the kettle itself was also white (and who in their right mind uses it to heat something other than water).

We had a great time visiting Meteora. The apartment was very close to shops and restaurants, so that was very convenient.

It was all working for us. Didn't have anything that bothered us.

The host was friendly and met us late in the evening. Apartment was fully-equipped and comfortable. There is a good collections of books in the apartment (including books in other languages than Greek). Very close to Meteora, with a parking place.

The shower makes the whole bathroom wet, it will be better to have a curtain.

Door handles need to be repaired - keep falling off. Opening the doors is quite noisy at night.

Ήταν καθαρό

Τα μαξιλάρια παλιά και πολύ σκληρά , η ντουλάπα ήταν γεμάτη με διάφορα σεντόνια παπλώματα πετσέτες και κουβέρτες , άγνωστο πότε πλυθηκαν και αν πλύθηκαν οι κουβέρτες , επιδη όπως κατάλαβα οποίος θέλει ότι θέλει πέρνει. Και τα στρώνει μόνος του. Άρα κρατάμε τα ρούχα μας στεις βαλίτσες αφού η μοναδική ντουλάπα είναι γεμάτη. Δεν είχαμε ζεστό νερό την πρώτη μέρα. Η είσοδος είναι από μια μπαλκονόπορτα καθόλου ασφαλές το μικρό λουκετάκι που μας δώσανε.
