The host Aba was so nice and helpful. The location was great and I loved the fact that you receive a complimentary shoulder and foot massage at Maati Spa.

On arrival I was told my room was not ready due to renovations, and that I would have to move when it was ready the next afternoon. The host Aba said they were unable to contact me on the phone number I provided, but booking allows messages which I could’ve received. Aba seemed to have no concern for my prior plans, but made sure to inform me the other room she had rented for me was more expensive and that Aba had the cheapest room in Embassy Gardens. When i travel I expect to get what I pay for not to spend one night in a room with mould, dirty walls and a broken bed, with nothing but an apology. Aba suggested I leave my luggage in the room to be moved, however my partner stayed in and around midday a small lady showed up to carry 6 pieces of luggage to the correct room. A upon arrival it was clear no renovations had been done. Dirty footprint on the wall next to the bed, leaking washing machine, faulty hand held shower head. Very unimpressive, an awful start to our holiday, no empathy from Aba and the apartment was only cleaned once in 7 days. Do better next time.
