About this house rental
This Excellent Vacation Home is of the Excellent Superior category. The villa is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac (no through traffic) in St. James Park, right off South Poinciana Blvd. All major theme parks like Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World are within easy reach. Just like the many world’s best golf courses Central Florida has to offer. There are supermarkets and dining nearby. Everything you could possibly need really is close at hand. This villa offers free high-speed internet (Wi-Fi), plus free local and long-distance calling within the United States.
The 2-story villa has many extras to make your stay very enjoyable. When entering the villa the living room is on your left. The dining room is on your right. Straight ahead you step into the family room, with the large, 65" smart cable TV (basic cable via the Spectrum app, plus on-demand streaming through all popular streaming apps). To the right of that room you will find the semi-open kitchen and spacious breakfast nook, seating 6.
In the rear on the left side of the villa you will find the Master Bedroom with King Bed, smart TV (basic cable via the Spectrum app, plus on-demand streaming through all popular streaming apps), plus walk-in closet and the 'en suite' bathroom with dual vanity, walk-in shower, large garden tub, and toilet. On the right side of the villa you will find the second bedroom with Queen Bed, smart TV (basic cable via the Spectrum app, plus on-demand streaming through all popular streaming apps) and closet, plus another spacious bathroom with dual vanity, shower tub and toilet. This bathroom also offers direct pool deck access. This is a very convenient feature; it allows you to walk-in and out from the pool deck right into the bathroom to take that quick shower and find your towels after those refreshing swims.
The other two bedrooms are upstairs. The first bedroom to the right has a Full bed, closet and bathroom with vanity, shower tub and toilet. This bathroom is shared with the other bedroom, which has a bunk bed sleeping 2 younger guests. Last but not least, you will find another family room upstairs (a loft), with smart TV (streaming only), and access to the screened balcony, offering a wonderful view onto the pool and surrounding area. All bedrooms, and the family room have ceiling fans.
The open kitchen is very well fitted. It includes a full size oven, built-in microwave, large fridge-freezer with ice-maker, waste disposal unit and dishwasher. There is also a full range of electrical appliances and utensils – pretty much everything you could want in your home away from home.
From the family room and the two downstairs bedrooms, you have access to the heatable pool. Pool deck chairs and sun loungers allow for late night, pool side relaxing. The fantastic view from the great pool onto the pond plus the high trees in the back is very hard to beat. The pool heating is optional, at an extra cost. "Spa" area as seen in pool photos really is a for-looks-only feature, so no bubbles, not a hot tub (no Spa).
A full-size washing machine and dryer, plus an iron and ironing board are present too.

A great location for family to fish the lakes and others to visit parks. The pool was extra nice to have after a day of play!

The house was roomy enough for a family to stay. Well stocked kitchen n amenities! Too cold for the pool as with the unusual weather this time of year. All n all was a good vacation rental. House needs a little update (paint, cookware) and a deeper cleaning, otherwise it was fine. Attractions were about 45 to an hr away. We took the train to Winter Park which was nice. I’d recommend this villa it’s a quiet neighborhood also!

This house had great pros but also notable cons.Pros:-the house was huge and we loved having the three very spacious bathrooms.-the pool was perfect-we paid for pool heat and it was worth it on the slightly breezier days. The lanai was great to keep bugs and critters away. -the linen for the beds and bathrooms were very clean-the kitchen and bathrooms were very clean-location was great Cons:-the signs by the thermostats stated that the air conditioning couldn’t be set below 75 or the system would malfunction…which seems to me like the system is broken because how can you call it air conditioning if it can’t go below 75? The upstairs was very warm at night, especially since we were having temperatures in the high 80s during our stay. Being upstairs with my two young children who aren’t used to sleeping in warmer temperatures was difficult. -we found a used condom under one of the beds which was disgusting. -there is very limited eating utensils for a house that can accommodate so many people.-the kitchen towels and pot holders could use replacing. They were very worn. -the water pressure in the shower upstairs was so strong that it was uncomfortable and I dreaded using it.-it would be great to have an electronic code for accessing the front door to the house so I didn’t have to keep track of house keys on vacation.
