If you're looking to take a break from kitchen duty, take advantage of the vast variety of food options within walking distance. Don't forget a Door County "must-do!" Visit Al Johnson's, just 2 blocks away, for a great breakfast and visit the goats on the roof!
The home sleeps 6 comfortably with a bedroom and full bathroom on the lower level and 2 separate sleeping areas with a full bath on the upper level, including a large open space, a perfect hang-out for kids or teens. A day bed is available if a bit more sleeping space is needed.
linens are provided for each guest. Don't forget to bring your beach towels and sand chairs for days in the sun and surf!
After a day of Door County adventure, come home to ease and privacy.

Adorable house so close to DT Sister Bay we could walk home with all our shopping treasures. The kitchen well stocked (even with candy) and there is lots of family space. The host is very easy to communicate and has lots of information, he even left us a note to tell us about the monarch chrysalis on the porch. We enjoyed watching it develop and then fly away. The bedroom with the twin beds is more loft style, with it being open to the stairway that leads to the kitchen. The queen bedroom's access for both bedroom and bathroom access is thru the twin room. It was not a big deal, just less quiet or private for the twin bed users. Certainly perfect for family.We will stay again.

This place was fantastic, super clean, well stocked and perfect walking distance to everything in Sister Bay. Owners were great to communicate with. Has everything to cook any meal. Great entertaining/family spaces. Would definitely return!

This was our second stay in this property and definitely won't be the last. This time we brought family along and everyone was impressed with the property and had an incredible time - constantly commenting how perfect the place was for our group. The house is pristine, cozy, and fully-appointed with all the amenities we needed for using the house as a home-base for our long weekend in Door County. Sister Bay is a great town and everything is walkable from this house (stores, restaurants, beach, boating) and it's centrally located if you're looking to go to the Peninsula State Park or other Door County towns. After a quick trip to the nearby grocery store (about 2 blocks away), we were able to grill out after a late afternoon arrival and kicked things off from there. We felt at home and like we were staying in a friends' house, particularly because of the thoughtful and personalized welcome gift from Dennis and Joan for our 4-year-old son, but also because of how easy they made everything. There's plenty to do at the house, plenty of places to enjoy a meal, play games, watch TV/movies, and plenty of space for a big family or group to sleep comfortably before the next day. This property is also very kid-friendly. Thanks for another great weekend!
