I stayed at this property for five nights, and unfortunately, my overall experience was disappointing, especially considering the room rate charged. The lobby was clean and presentable, but the elevator floor was dirty and had a strong unpleasant odor. Although my room was initially clean, there was a persistent bad smell coming from the AC throughout my entire stay. I also noticed bugs on the wall in the room and bathroom, which was very concerning and unacceptable from a cleanliness perspective. Housekeeping was provided only once during my five-night stay, despite my requesting daily service at the front desk. The breakfast selection was very limited and the same each day. The juice machine was out of order, the available juice packs were extremely small, and some breakfast items, including the croissants, were not fresh and were quite hard. Since the property allows pets, there was also a noticeable pet odor in most of the areas of the hotel. I understand that pets are permitted, but better cleaning and odor control should be maintained for all guests. My biggest concern is the value for the price paid. The room condition, bugs, AC odor, housekeeping, breakfast quality, cleanliness, and overall service did not justify the rate charged. I stayed primarily because of the convenient location while helping my daughter get settled in Clovis for her studies. Otherwise, I would have considered staying elsewhere. I hope management will take this feedback seriously and address these concerns to improve the experience and value provided to guests.
