About this house rental
Our home which we call "Ponderosa Place" is nestled in a beautiful area overlooking the valley with beautiful mountain views. The location is ideal, being only 1 mile off of Hwy 550 and only a few minutes from town. Within about 60 miles from Telluride ski slopes and all kinds of outdoor activities available including fly-fishing, biking, off-roading (only a few miles from BLM land) swimming, mountain climbing etc.., the world-famous Ouray ice climbing park about 30 min away.
Our house sits on 3 acres that has an abundance of wildlife including migratory water fowl that enjoy the spring fed pond. Beautiful green grass and a large deck complete with patio furniture, grill out the back and two car attached garage.
Inside the rooms are beautifully furnished with high ceilings in the living area 3 bedrooms and a cozy bedroom/hangout room upstairs. Master bedroom has king size bed, large walkin closet. Also has private glass shower and separate large tub.
Living room has a large sectional couch that seats 7-8 people with large flat screen tv .
Large kitchen with bar/bar stools, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, oven/stove, refrigerator/freezer, water filter system, kitchen table/chairs. Kitchen also has a window seat with a beautiful views of the mountains, pond and pasture, this is a favorite spot for many.
Only about 15 minutes from Montrose airport (MTJ) and transportation is available to airport from property. Also if needed we could do a grocery pickup if you order online from one of the local grocery stores.
The house can accommodate 12 or more but an additional charge will apply if there are more then 8 people.
So bring your clothes and relax!
Sorry no pets in house however Iron Will Dog Kennel is located 1/4 mile from property or a heated outside doghouse may be available upon request. This house has always been a smoke and pet free house.

Overall very good. Only 2 bathrooms though and could use one more? Also, the bathroom in the master needs a door, not a curtain rod with a curtain

This is a beautiful, clean and comfortable home in a wonderful location. Nice kitchen, comfortable beds, and the views from the back patio are breathtaking!

The property had beautiful views but the home wasn’t very clean and in a bit of disrepair. Over 20 dead flies on floor in upstairs bedroom. Crumbs on kitchen floor. Hair in master bathtub. Killed at least 5 spiders and cleaned many cobwebs.
