Enjoy beautiful St. Remy de Provence.
Renovated 3 air conditioned bedroom, 2 bath gated luxury house, 1 kilometer from center town, available for rent. New baths and gourmet kitchen with top of the line appliances, beautifully decorated.
Inviting garden with pool, and two outdoor eating areas, with seating for 8 to 10 people, in front of fountain and under a fragrant trellis. Relax on chaise lounges around the private stone pool and enjoy the Provencal sunshine.
Saint Rémy has a golf course, as well as, tennis courts and riding stables. You can also go fishing or gliding, and there are endless places to walk or cycle through the hills and discover for yourself, unspoiled, tucked away areas.
Glanum, just outside Saint Rémy, is one of the most important Roman archeological sites in Provence. Founded 300 BC, it reveals a civilization that influences life here even today.
You can see thermal baths, an avenue of houses, the temple and the natural spring, and the remains of a Gallo-Roman town dating 30-10 BC. On the road leaving Glanum, are the ancient Arc de Triomphe and Les Antiquities, the gateway to Glanum, standing as they have since that time. Close by is St Paul de Mausole, where Van Gogh spent his last days.
From there it is only a short drive through the hills to Les Beaux, an ancient village perched high on the rocks, once one of the most celebrated and brilliant of the troubadour courts of love in the Middle Ages, now romantically ghostly.
The villa is also at the centre of the Baux de Provence and Côteaux d'Aix vineyards and not far from Château Neuf du Pape.
It is important to note that Airports Marseille International is only eighty kilometres, Avignon is twenty kilometres, car rental is available. Road Paris/Saint Rémy is six hours, Rail Avignon (TGV Paris/Avigno) is two hours and forty-five minutes and twenty kilometres, rental car is available.

We were checked in by Aleksandra and out by Alexandra - both of whom were very helpful and friendly. The house is very comfortable and has a wonderful atmosphere. We all felt very at home there. Great proximity to St Remy - easy to walk into town. The pool was ideal for cooling down in and for relaxing beside.We tended to eat in town for lunch, and dine at the house in the evenings. We all had a truly fabulous week and hope to return (there was talk of making it an annual event!Both the owners and the property managers were extremely helpful.

The description and photos of the property are accurate and comprehensive. The location of the house is great being close to the center of St Remy, just a 20 minute flat walk to a great selection of restaurants, shops and the amazing Wednesday market.Aleksandra was very attentive and helpful during our stay.We highly recommend St Remy and this property.

We had a delightful month's stay at Les Treilles in St. Remy. The house and yard are beautiful and spotless. We stayed a month and there was ample storage for our kit and supplies. All three bedrooms are very comfortable for adults. We enjoyed making use of the gourmet kitchen and exploring the town and surrounding small villages and parks. It's a great location for getting to know Provence. We particularly enjoyed the Yves Brayer museum in Les Baux and getting to know Alpilles wines with the charming staff at Le Domain Milan (a short stroll from the house.)The hosts were communicative and responsive and we want to give a particular shout out to the local staff, who responded instantly to any inquiries with helpful recommendations and assistance. They were absolute gems, helping us make dinner reservations for our first night, arranging a private chef to teach us Provençal cooking and booking a car to the train station for our last night. Couldn't recommend the people and place more highly.
