Relax and socialize in the many indoor and outdoor spaces. On the western front porch the palm fronds rustle in the gentle breeze of the Pacific trade winds. The plush sofas in the living room invite a nap or an opportunity to be entertained with music, TV with free Netflix movie streaming, or DVD.

-All your culinary needs can be met in the cook's kitchen with its abundant counter space, up-to-date appliances and utensils. The dining room with atrium-like ambiance seats 8 people plus additional dining for 2 in the kitchen nook. The garden setting is private, peaceful and exotic.

-This Kauai home offers a perfect setup for a multi-generational family reunion.

-Mala Pua- the "garden" master suite is on the main level with a king bed and daybed, TV and DVD player. The spacious bathroom with a walk-in tiled shower offers lush garden views.

-Kumulani- (base of sky) is the vaulted upstairs master suite that captures majestic mountain views. It features a king bed, TV and DVD player, bath with tiled shower.

-The Hula Room features a double bed with a whimsical hula decor theme.

-The Blue Room is equipped with 3 twin beds. Two can be converted into a king size bed to meet your needs.

-The garage is equipped with laundry facilities, and beach gear. (This saves you $$ on recreational equipment fees.)
Pack up the beach equipment including mats, chairs, cooler, sand toys and have a great day at the beach. Poipu Beach Park offers a large grassy area dotted with swaying coco palms. There are picnic tables, play equipment, showers, restrooms, even a convenience store and restaurant across the street.

FITNESS CLUB Included - Family fun activity center

Included with your reservation at no extra cost you now have the privilege of using a nearby family fitness facility. The Poipu Beach Athletic Club (PBA Club), less than a mile away, is a wonderful facility for family & friends to be active, have fun and have a meal, too.

CLUB AMENITIES INCLUDE: cardio workout room, weight lifting equipment, exercise room (and classes), poolside table and chaise lounges, restaurant and bar and pool/hot spa with waterslide! Lots of games to play for young and old alike - 4 tennis courts, 3 pickleball courts, basketball, badminton, volley ball, shuffleboard, ping pong, and more lawn games (all equipment provided!!).

RATES & POLICIES: Stated rates are for up to 8 guests.
$800 refundable security deposit (damage/loss) is required; An initial payment of $500 is required to secure the reservation. The full amount plus security deposit is due 60 days prior to arrival.

Our policy will vary with stays longer than 3 weeks.

Our holiday season extends from Dec. 17- Jan. 6 with a one week minimum stay (2 week minimum if the stay includes both holidays). We divide the season into two periods with some flexibility on dates and length of stay. For the first week (Christmas) we ask our guests to arrange their departure date to fall between Dec. 26 and Dec. 27. For the second week (New Year's celebration) we ask guests to arrive around Dec 28-29. This gives the option of 7-10 days for either holiday segment.

KAUAI ACTIVITIES:

Kauai Restaurants: Brennecke's restaurant is a great place for lunch or dinner at the beach; good burgers, fish and drinks. They have a great crab meal for dinner. Don't forget Lapperts' ice cream for a real treat. It's fresh made in Hanapepe and definitely a landmark destination. They are located throughout the island: Poipu (just a couple of miles from the house), Kalaheo, and Kapa'a, etc.

Poipu Beach offers a sheltered cove called "Baby Beach" where toddlers play in the sand and splash in the shallow waters. A few steps away in the clear warm water, colorful tropical fish swim beneath as you just feet from the shore. The calm waters and gentle waves are enjoyed by swimmers of all capabilities. Experienced surfers can catch large-breaking waves further out beyond the reef. Brennecke Beach, at the east end of the park, is renowned for body surfing and boogie boarding.

If you bring your camera you may be able to capture on film a Monk Seal sleeping off a meal on the beach. Seals are protected so don't approach too closely.

Within a 2 mile radius of the house you will find three golf courses, some of Kauai's finest restaurants and charming island boutiques. When you venture beyond Poipu you will find a virtual paradise of activities: helicopter tours, horseback riding, river and ocean kayaking, whale-watching, botanical garden tours and much more, including the spectacular NaPali Coast and the Waimea Canyon (Grand Canyon of the Pacific).
