Our just renovated beachfront home Mermaids offers a unique coastal experience in a vacation rental. This oceanfront home is located right on the Coast with breath-taking views of the beach, dunes, and Atlantic Ocean from the porch, upper deck, and some bedrooms. Within minutes of shopping and dining. e Mermaids is one block off the Atlantic Beach Circle - where both young and old can find activities to do provided by the town government. Due to the island's east-west geography, the unique ability of observing both sunrise and sunset from the convenience of both decks is available.

"Mermaids" is a three story home with enough space to spread out. The ocean view on the main and upper level is spectacular. There is a heated pool, hot tub and weber grill on the main level with an outdoor hot and cold shower. Enjoy the outdoors in your private in-ground swimming pool, hot tub, outdoor shower and grill.
The lower level has a separate entrance under the stairs to main floor. The lower level can only be accessed from driveway. The lower level has a small bathroom with shower, 85 inch television, Hundreds of classic video games, bathroom with shower, couch, bar, refrigerator, washer and dryer. The main level of the house has a newly renovated kitchen, dining room, living room small bathroom with small claw foot tub which you can bathe or shower in with very little space. This main floor has three bedrooms - one with a king bed and the other two have one queen-size bed each. The upper level has two bedrooms - the first bedroom has a king with queen sleeper sofa and brand new wet bar with coffee station. The kids' room has three twin and one queen . The living room, second floor bedroom with king bed as well as the upper level bedrooms have spectacular views of the ocean. There are 5 TVs with cable in three of the bedrooms and living room and lower level playroom.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ALL RENTERS MUST READ
If for any reason the Hot Tub is not working there is no refund of any kind offered to guest.
The Hot Tub is not A GUARANTEED AMENITY.
In the past three years the Hot Tub has broke down several times and it can take up to two weeks to secure a repair person and replacement parts.
LINENS , TOWELS AND TOILETRIES ARE NOT INCLUDED
If you are planning to bring a pet, please make sure you contact owner. There are additional $200 fee for lodging of pet. These fees do not include cleaning hair that may shed. Owner of pet is responsible for making sure that rental home is free of all pet hair. Animals are not permitted on furniture and bedding.
If there is animal hair on the furniture and or bedding the guest will incur an additional cleaning bill from cleaning company. These additional fees will be deducted from the security deposit. Of the three bathrooms there is no master bath. The bathrooms are small.
THERE ARE TWO SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS ON THE PROPERTY ONE IN THE FRONT OF THE HOME AND ONE IN THE BACK OF THE HOME THESE CAMRAS ARE NOT RECORDING ANY AUDIO AND ARE SET TO GIVE A WIDE VEIW OF PROPERTY IN THE FRONT AND BACK
WHEN PARKING YOUR CAR IN DRIVEWAY PLEASE MOVE AS FAR FORWARD AS POSSIBLE. OCCATIONALY THERE WILL BE A SERVICE PERSON OR PROPETY MATAINCE PERSON WHO WILL PARK BEHIND YOU. THIS SERVICE PERSON WILL BE ON THE PROPERTY FOR A SHORT TIME AND WILL MOVE THERE VEHICLE IMMEDIATELY UPON REQUEST.

Lovely beach front property! We stayed here for a long weekend and had the best time. The home is the perfect beach cottage with tons of space to spread out and enjoy vacation. Our family enjoyed to hot tub, pool and fun game room. Winter sunsets are amazing-we spotted dolphins sitting on the back deck and enjoyed the walkability to the circle. Thank you to the fantastic host Stefan for being super responsive. We will be back to enjoy this sea side gem for again in the future!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The rental was beautifully decorated with so much character — it truly felt like a home, not just a place to stay. The owner was wonderful to work with: responsive, kind, and genuinely cared about our experience. Everything was thoughtfully done, and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We will absolutely be returning.

We loved having a place with a private pool and hot tub. But we here were quite a few negatives. There were many cockroaches outside and a handful inside that we would see come out at night. Overall the house looked clean but there were definitely areas around that could use a much deeper clean.The house was very old, so expect older furniture (wardrobes instead of dressers), no closets and not many outlets. The owner was great and let us know that the outdoor shower had the best water pressure, but the outdoor shower can be viewed from the upper balcony space. The walk to the beach was nice but the sand has definitely piled up, so it was longer and harder than we would’ve liked. We were vacationing with 10 adults and 6 children aged 2 and under, so the walk of course was harder with a stroller/wagon. The deck area and pool space was gorgeous, definitely the best part of the property, but it wasn’t the safest with the young toddlers we had as they could easily fall into the pool. So this house was not a great space for young children.
