About this cottage rental
2026 SEASON.... I decided to reopen the cottage for another season, with changes,here at CCC, laundry room and 1/2 bathroom added 2021, cottage flooring updated....2021 I am offering a private entrance lakeside to the lower level walkout of my home, {I LIVE IN THE UPPER UNIT} on 100 feet of private beach on this all-sports lake, which is part of the Chain of Lakes in the quaint towns of Bellaire and Central Lake. All rooms have windows lakeside,{except bathroom} beautiful views of lake, beautiful sunsets.
SLEEPS SIX{6}
Master Bedroom has King size bed, Second bedroom has A QUEEN-size bed, 1 twins I also have 1 twin bed located in the living quarters off in its own little corner with privacy screen. One and half bathrooms, Kitchen, dining and living area all open. Outside table with umbrella and chairs, seating under semi protected area. Beautiful sunsets, two public accesses for launching your boat very close {2 & 4 miles} Front row seats on my beach for 4th of July Central Lake fireworks.
Dock space for your boat, row boat available to use, life jackets provided..
We are 10 miles from downtown Bellaire, two miles from downtown Central Lake, 20 miles from Charlevoix, 33 miles to Gaylord,42 miles from Traverse City and 36 miles from Petoskey.
This is the place to be if you don't mind Owner residing in the upper level. Lower level is completely private from rest of house, you have your own private entrance lake side and privacy door on interior separating upper and lower levels. You have as much privacy as you want. Outside security cameras on the property.
Check in: 2pm check out 5pm min stay 4 nights. Bed linens, one set per bed PROVIDED, and pillows, based on reservation, bath towels PROVIDED., bring your own pillows if you prefer, bring your own beach towels. .

First of all, like you have read over and over again, Cheryl is amazing! She was accommodating in every way you can think of.
Our family of 5 were very comfortable in the space, and would have had room for more. We ventured out most days to explore everything around us. Our favorites were Sleeping Bear Dunes, Dark Sky Park, Mackinac Island, and visiting Charlevoix for the Apple Fest. The cinema in Bellaire was also a nice addition to our trip, along with apple and raspberry picking. The kiddos even went for a little swim in the 50 degree water and loved playing on the beach.
Thanks for the hospitality! We hope to be back sooner than later.

Very clean and well-stocked cottage. Lake is super clear and has beautiful sunsets. Super relaxing time. Easy trip to Charlevoix and Mackinaw Island. Owner, Cheryl, is very helpful and kind and treated us to a tour of Intermediate Lake on her pontoon boat. Thanks for a fabulous place to rejuvenate and get to know our future daughter-in-law better!

To begin, Cheryl is an amazing property owner and overall great person. Upon our arrival, it was evident she takes pride in her property and the focus is providing everything that any family would need on vacation. The rental property was meticulously maintained inside and out. We really enjoyed the 75 yard long dock that was great to fish from. The kids enjoyed the beach and the swim platform a few yards from the end of the dock. We had a campfire every night listening to the fire crackle amidst the backdrop of a perfectly still lake. Check out Short's Brewery in Bellaire...just a 10 min drive away. Amazing food and drink. Thank you Cheryl! We hope to be back next summer!

We had such a fantastic time at Critt's Cove! Cheryl is an amazing host and very accommodating. We loved the property and our stay. We highly recommend!!
