About this house rental
Our lovely home has been fully modernised, and is suitable for a large family or group of friends. The house is very spacious, and can comfortably sleep 8, with a sofa bed for an additional 2 if needed. The kitchen has new appliances, the 2 bathrooms are brand new, and there is a third separate toilet. The location is elevated on the hillside above the airport, and adults and kids alike will enjoy watching the planes come and go. Although located away from the hussle and bustle, it is less than 10 minutes to Avarua township and 7 minutes to a swim at Black Rock. The large deck provides a restful location to relax, read a book, have a beer or cocktail, and enjoy the views and sunsets. For rainy days, the lounge is spacious and equipped with a large flatscreen tv and a wide selection of movies and programs, as well as board games and cards. Wifi is available on a user pays basis.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house exceeded all our expectations. The main bedroom was spacious with its own ensuite, while the queen rooms offered plenty of space to relax and enjoy a restful night’s sleep. The bunk room was perfect for our teenage boys, giving them enough room to spread out and maintain their holiday chaos.The 2.5 bathrooms were very handy, and we appreciated the comforts of home with the washing machine, bbq, outdoor lounges and fully equipped kitchen etc. The views were simply stunning, set among the peaceful hills of the Nikao area.Our hosts were wonderful, attentive to our needs, and kindly accommodated our requests. We were especially grateful to be allowed an extra day before heading off for our late 11pm departure.We highly recommend the “Old Navy Home” for families – a definite 10/10! We’ll be back for sure.

Absolutely amazing stay, had everything we needed, so much space, clean, modern, tidy, stunning views and perfect for our whānau of 6, kids ages 2-15. Highly recommend- we will def be booking again!

Highly recommend house was exactly as advertised with a view to die for. We thoroughly enjoyed the fresh fruits provided on arrival. Plenty of space and privacy and awesome sunsets

This was truly a home for our family, with everything we needed. It was evident that our hosts thought about the people who would potentially stay in their beautiful home, from the layout and furnishings to a linen cupboard full of towels for showers and swimming. Thank you Wayne for a seemless process and Gillene and Steve for taking great care of our family.
